Marlotte Air Base is located within Sieuxerr on Marlotte Island of which the base takes its name from, near the town of Magnoux, it is operated by the Sieuxerrian Air Force. It is the Northern most military base in Metropolitan Sieuxerr and is one of the largest bases. Historically, it was the Marlotte Fortress, which was operated by the army and navy. In 1910 after the Fifth Esto-Sieuxerrian War, it was renamed the Marlotte Naval Aerodrome and its naval role was shifted to other bases, but its ports and facilities were maintained until the 1930s. During the Sixth Esto-Sieuxerrian War, the newly named Marlotte Air Base (French: Marlotte Base Aérienne) was used by the Air Force which operated long-range, 4 engine patrol aircraft, fighter-interceptors, and seaplanes. Its older fortifications were supplemented by then-modern shore batteries and other fortifications and secondary installations were established. By the early 1980s, the base also had a sizable army garrison to defend the island against a possible invasion attempt from the Democratic Socialist Republic of Anikatia and its mission remained overall the same. Starting in 1993, the army component was slowly withdrawn back to mainland Sieuxerr, and by 2003 the majority of combat units have been removed, instead a force of engineers remained to maintain and to modernize older facilities along with military police to maintain security of the base.

Its home to the 11e Escadre de Chasse Tactique (11th Tactical Fighter Wing, 11ECT), equipped with the Bloch MB.4000 multirole fight aircraft. It has 66 MB.4000C2s and 2 MB.4000B2 organized into three squadrons. Additionally, there is the Escadron de Chasse 101 (101st Tactical Fighter Squadron, EC 101) which has 18 SA.349C and two SA.350Bs. These aircraft are augmented on a rotational basis with aircraft from other fighter squadrons and fighter wings from across Metropolitan Sieuxerr and Outer Forces Command.

Additionally, the base hosts the Escadron de Sauvetage Aérien 991 (991st Air Rescue Squadron, ESA 991), Escadron de transport 15 (15th Transport Squadron, ET 15), Escadron de détection et de contrôle aéroporté 32 (32nd Airborne Warning and Control Squadron, EDCA 32), Escadron de ravitaillement en vol 18 (18th Aerial Refueling Squadron, ERV 18), the Marlotte Island Air Defense Regiment, and other logistical squadrons located there. Army facilities are maintained as well as a number of Cold-War era fortifications, with the ability these facilities to be activated within a few days to months depending on the facility. There are facilities not within the base itself, instead a number of emergency facilities like airstrips, bunkers, and storage areas are scattered around the island. It holds the ability to contain over 15,000 additional army troops in both normal and emergency housing as well as additional aircraft. The base's naval facilities have greatly degraded in general, the small port areas have been preserved by civilian fishing from Magnoux.
