The 1st Infantry Division (1re Division d'Infanterie, 1re DIM) is an infantry division apart of the Sieuxerrian Army and is the oldest, but not the longest continually serving division in the army itself. Until 1939, the division had been constituted as a traditional foot-mobile infantry infantry formation, in 1939, the division was rebuilt into a motorized division, with the entire division being equipped with with organic motorization for the infantry and artillery, and the division was also equipped with armor cars and light tanks. The division has seen action in many conflicts that Sieuxerr has been involved in. After the end Kolenomai War in 1976, the division was stationed in Martaizé Barracks.
The 1st Infantry Division (1re Division d'Infanterie, 1re DI) is an infantry division apart of the Sieuxerrian Army and is the oldest division of the army, rivaling the Imperial Guard Division in terms of age.

The modern division consists of six brigades, three maneuver brigades, an artillery brigade, a combat helicopter brigade, and a support brigade. In theory, the division is supposed to work in tandem with the 5th Armored Division along with other supporting brigades in an operational theater under command of the 1st Sieuxerrian Army Corps. The 5th Armored Division would provide the bulk of the forces' primary offensive firepower with its heavy self-propelled artillery, hundreds of main battle tanks, and heavily armored tracked IFVs. The 1st Infantry Division would be used as a rapid action force, using helicopter-borne infantry and wheeled APCs to secure and hold objectives once the armored forces have advanced past it.
