Esther, Princess of Acronius (Esther Astride Blanche Danielle; born 24 February 1996) is the eldest child of King Antoine III and Queen Anne of Bruges, and heir apparent to the throne of Acronius. Alternatively known as the Duchess of Brides, Esther was born in Lionsgate at the Kearney Hospital, immediately becoming first in the royal family's line of succession.

Early life

Esther Astride Blanche Danielle was born at 18:05 local time at Kearney Hospital in Lionsgate, on 24 February 1996, six years into the reign of her father, King Antoine III. She was the king's first child, and heir presumptive to the throne. Esther was baptized on 9 June 1996, in the private chapel of Rothrist Palace by the Archbishop of Brides, and was named Esther after her paternal great-grandmother, to whom she bore a striking resemblance, Astride after her paternal grandmother, Blanche after her maternal great-grandmother, and Danielle after her maternal grandmother. Her father, King Antoine III, is the eldest son of King Guillaume VI, who passed away six years earlier. Her mother, Queen Anne of Lavindor, is the eldest daughter of Alfred Edmunds-Aberdovy, Earl of Malburn and Yeavering, a House Fortescue aristocrat.

Bongiovi Manor, Esther's childhood residence

Throughout her childhood, Esther was raised at Bongiovi Manor, a Carthadonan-style residence in the Angus Town neighborhood of Lionsgate. Her parents were required to spend the majority of their day at the seat of the monarchy at the Palace of Roses, but normally returned to Angus Town to spend the night. King Antoine and Queen Anne welcomed their second child, Daphné, in 1998. Their third and fourth children, twins Élise and Octave, were born in 2000. As her parents were almost invariably at the Palace of Roses throughout the day, Esther and her siblings were often cared after by Prince Lucius, Count of Montague, Queen Anne's younger brother.
