Early Life

Born in Cormen Calacoirëa, (lit. Place of Living Light), Alassë has the distinction, along with many of her kin, of being born on two worlds, as the city is present both on the surface of Arda (Earth) and on Eärendil (Venus), although at the time of her birth the Venus location of the city was protected by a thick glass dome to protect it from the planet's atmosphere. Her older sister Thindamallë proceeded her and her childhood was largely without incident.

Artificer

Alassë achieved some noteriety as an artificer particularly in the traditional Noldorin craft of jewelsmithing, this craft uses both natural mined gems and synthetic ones of various sorts, of these one of the best known is Laën, a substance composed of a single string crystalline lattice that grows harder the hotter it is but can be worked like metal at ultra-cool temperatures. Considered a difficult field to master this traditional crafting technique involves both physical crafting and enchantment.

Military Career

Due to the Ardan conflicts caused by the Morgothic crisis, Alassë enlisted in the Menelmacari Imperial Defense Forces (MIDF) a career with the final rank of Roquen, broadly equivalent to an air-force captain in most militaries, and served in multiple roles, most directly as a pilot of Loki-gunships from the Third Fleet Craban-class Loki-carrier Quáco under the command of Ciryaaran Rilyo nos Galdor, where she recieved citations for meritorious performance during bombing missions during Operation Roundhammer and transport and firefighting missions during Operation Iesus Christi Patriot Support.

Explorer

After the Ardan conflicts ended and the MIDF personnel roster was reduced back to its prior peacetime levels, Alassë decided to put her new skills to use in a side-business, and travelled to the Revenant Worlds within the Great Civilization of the C'tan to study the artefacts of the ruined cultures there. During this time she became the de-facto leader of a fellowship of explorers.

Among other achievements she is noted for a exploring the ruins of the city of Antemar on Lurthir II, a successful first contact with the species known as the Skien of Cardi, infiltrating the Atumite world of Delmak, and later being the only one of her fellowship to escape an ambush by the Atumite System Lord Sokar, whereupon she arranged their rescue along with a number of political prisoners from the penal world of Sheol, which was later interdicted by the MIDF which provided Ardan nations with a wealth of information on the Atumite society and military.

During this time she mentored Lithesh ita Nephrekh, the first true necrontyr mage in that species' vast history. During this career as an explorer she captained two ships, Gunboat Diplomat and the Continuation of Diplomacy a larger pocket-gunboat, and used these actively, maintaining her military flying skills.

Technomancer

During her career as an explorer Alassë changed her field of focus from traditional crafting practices to the field of technical magic, moving toward the technological use of magic and the use of magic to modify major technological systems, while doing this she continued to act as a proprietor to her existing business and was shortlisted for invitation to the famous Gwaith-i-Mírdain guild within her homeland.

Colonial Expedition

Arms of Alassë nos Eärendil.

Due to her exploits as an explorer Alassë was later appointed by Ar-Minalbanâth, High Queen of The Azrazâin, Lady Paramount of House Eärendil to the title of Arátë (lit. Champion, Eminent Woman), a title broadly equivalent to baronet within the Menelmacari honours system and invited to submit a proposal for establishing a long term colony offworld under the aegis of the house as part of the ongoing Menelmacari expansion. Although the title was granted to her within this system it is success in the venture for which the title was created is expected for this title to be considered truly substantive and for this to be heritable.
