Josefa tells of seeing a huntsman, a butcher, and a farmer on her way over. What shocked the girl was seeing the devil instead of the saint through the window. Barely managing to escape, she returns home, accepting the punishments her parents have ready for her.

It is there in the Kingdom of Oathria that Vedasto meets Princess Grazia and learns that Visaren Galu is steadily growing in power and threatens their land. Hoping to escape back to his world, Vedasto takes a chance to take on the dark lord.
