She would first met Arnold Wolf during his 1984 election for Maine's 1st Congressional district as she worked as an intern for the campaign. The two would later begin a romanic relationship after Wolf's divorce from his first wife and LeBlanc Wolf's competion in the Miss America contest. She married Arnold Wolf in 1986, becoming the step-mother to Arnold Jr., Lilyana, and Wallace, his children from his first marriage. LeBlanc Wolf, then a college student, interned for Arnold Wolf's congressional campaign in 1984. It has been reported that they had a good working relationship. The two lost contact with each other after the internship ended. However, the two would come back into contact a year due to LeBlanc winning the title of Miss Maine 1985. The two reportedly began dating in the Summer of 1985, we're engaged by the Fall of 1985, and we're married by the Winter of 1986.
