Previously he served as [[Chancellor of the Federal Exchequer]] from 2006 to 2009 and as [[Minister for Labour and Employment]] from 1999 to 2006. He has represented the electoral division of [[Haussimont North]] in the Valentirian Parliament since X.
Babineaux was born and raised in the lower class district of Haussimont and studied political science at St. Victoria University. He began his career as a representative for various trade unions. His political career began when he was elected to the Haussimont City Council in X; he was later elected Mayor in X, a role he would hold until his election to the electoral division of Haussimont North in X.
