The modern Æþurian Hær is a continuation of the Folkets Hær from the time of the Futurist regime. When the Futurist Collapse occurred in 1991, the Folkets Hær was transitioned into the Forente Republikken Hær to secure the new government and state. It inherited most of the traditions, organization and officers of the old Folkets Hær and, after a short period of review and consolidation, reformed in 1992 to its present incarnation. Before that, the short lived Æþurian Republikk was a conservative democracy meant to fill in for the collapsed monarchy, and much like the government the old Republikken Hær was a conflicting mess of mixed ideologies and doctrines. | |||
