The Service is officially tasked with gathering, processing, and analyzing national security information from both Delamaria and around the world. The agency primarily operates through human and sattelite intelligence, since it absorbed the Aerial Observation Agency. The DSS is the primary member of the Delamarian Intelligence Council, and reports to the Department of National Security since 2021.
