Melayukan means "to wither" and in the world of the Three Oceans, a vast imperial state has begun it's long, slow demise. It is the age of the Terangauni Maharajas who keep their courts in the old palaces of Diampau and pass judgement over all the lands that touch Perlindungan, the Sea of Refuge. They wrested control of the empire from their old overlords in Daratanayah and now their judges are scouring the land of unrighteousness. Even as they solidify their control, however, the tapestry of the empire is beginning to unwind as secret societies move in the shadows and princes sit idle at court while their subjects start to forget the meaning of the law.
