====Storyline====
'''András Géza Velencei''' is one of the main characters and the central protagonist of ''Noble Dog''. At the time of the story's beginning, András is a young man that is made an Alispán against his will by his father, Géza III of Velencei. He is made the Alispán of the Estate of Velencei Németújvár at the age of 19 and finds himself in a tangled web of politics that his father has weaved that he himself does not want to take part in. Andrew, wanting to make a name for himself outside of nobility, is told of the Reliquary of his ancestor, Almo I, that was rudely returned by his father to Marfi at the Abbey Upon Velencei Németújvár. Hearing from Marfi that the Reliquary is missing three pieces that were given or taken by other nobles, or lose, Andrew wants to set out on an adventure to help find the remainder of the Reliquary.
'''András Géza Velencei''' is one of the main characters and the central protagonist of ''Noble Dog'', and the leader of ''Company of the East''. András is is Géza III and Beleknegini's second-born son, after Seszták Velencei. When András was born, he was not seen as a potential inheritor of the throne as head of the House of Velencei. As a result, he was sent away at the age of 2 to the Abbey Upon Velencei Németújvár. There, he lived with Clarence and Father Márfi in the Abbey and lived similarly to the monks. When András  turned 15, he was granted the title of Alispán of Velencei Németújvár and inherited the land of Velencei Németújvár. This was precluded by the murders of his uncle Kálmán, his aunt Rozina, and the death of his brother Seszták from the Bagamér Plague. While there have been talks of András now becoming the heir, both Géza III and Beleknegini have told him both publicly and privately that they do not believe that he is mature or able to handle the mantle.

Unbeknownst to András, three separate conflicts are brewing that are about to involve him in his hunt for the Seven Relics. The Empire faces a successionary crisis among the House of Esterházy that threatens to divide the Empire into two family factions. His father Géza III and mother Beleknegini both have their devilish plots that they intend to begin, András being primary victims or pieces in both plots. In his search of the relic of the ancient Apostolic Presbyter Dezső of Veszprém, he is dragged into the power struggle occuring between a coalition of Noble Southern Veszprémic Households and one of the most powerful Hódítók Warlords.

At the time of the story's beginning, András is a young teenager at 17 as the Alispan of Velencei Németújvár. He did not take any real administration role in running Velencei Németújvár. He is given a series of odd dreams, including a premonition of a statue which is actually the Reliquary of Almo, created by his long ancestor Almo I. He believes that the reliquary potentially holds the answers to the decline of the Empire. When he consults Father Marfi, it appears that Father Marfi knows about the general location due to the Reliquary being bequeathed to the monks before they left. When Marfi informs András about the Reliquary, András sets out to find out about the missing pieces of it. Unbeknownest to him, his journey would subsequently entangle him in the War of the Three Emperors and in saving the Empire from certain doom.
====Physical Traits & Appearance====
====Physical Traits & Appearance====
[[File:Andras_Velencei_Design_Suxetii.png|200px|thumbnail|right]]
András is a teenage male Erdősi, about 17 years old at the time of the story's beginning. He stands at about 5'9". Almost his entire heritage and physical appearance is direct from his patrilineal heritage of Velencei Males. He is however, the only one with his color pattern, where his colors are split perfectly half-and-half. He has the Lambda of the Velencei on his forehead, with the Three Dots of Knowledge on his head. His eyes are a shade of deep blue, one of the few traits that he retained from Beleknegini.
András is a Erdős male, as such is of Beagle descent. Standing at around 5'11", he is the tallest living Velencei member. He hold the majority of his traits directly from his patrilinial heritage of the Velencei Males. On his forehead lies the Lambda of Velencei, holistering within the Lambda Tridot, thought to be the Undertowed Lambda Circles. His coat is more resemblent of his ancestor Álmo II than it is of Géza III, in that he has three main colors: Black, Tan and White. He has Beleknegini's eyes, with his eyes being a shade of deep blue.

András often wears the typical set of clothing for a Nemesség of his ranking, that being of an Alispán. As an Alispán, he wears a single plum on the top of his hat that is pinned down by a silver emblem of the Lambda of Velencei. His fur hat is a deep rich brown fur color.  His standard dressing when with royalty includes a black cape, but the majority of the time he does not wear the cape. His strap is teal with a golden pattern on it.

====Personality====
András is an excitable and yet anxious person with a mixed outlook of intensity and the aftermath thoughts. He often does not like being the center of attention to certain situations, specifically situations that involve The Empire and politics. Since he was young he had held a considerable amount of distain for the Empire and authority, preferring to think of himself as an adventurer that would break the mold of the Velencei legacy.

András often follows his heart over his mind and lacks good judgement, which he considers Clarence to be his judgement. As such, András has extremely poor judgement on objectives as well as people. He is not perceptive of other people and the threat that they pose to him, which others will often take advantage of.

====Relationships====
* '''Clarence''' '''[{{font color|#007408|Positive}}]''': The relationship that is shared between András and Clarence is a close male bond that is not meant to be reflected with other characters or relationships. While not romantic, it is also not percieved as platonic or sibling-like. The exact nature of the relationship between the two is reflected by the respect and trust the two give to each other, but is never fully revealed. András often shows Clarence understanding and acceptance of his nature, something that is shown by almost no other character save for Mátyás. In turn, Clarence acts as a sort of diary for András. Much of what András needs to get off his mind that he cannot say publicly or to other characters he will share with Clarence. Much of their lives have been spent around each other, from adolescense to young adulthood.

* '''Géza III''' '''[{{font color|#9C0400|Negative}}]''': Géza is nothing but unloving of his second son. The overshadowed failure after the successful son Sesztek I, Géza III spared no expense to relieve him and Beleknegini of any need to care or any responsibility in the raising of András. Much of András's life is spent away from Geza and as a result, András sometimes doesn't really see Geza as a father more so a distant family member that he is required to be pleasant to. When András reappears in Esztergom, it is much to Geza displeasure and disappointment to see András in the city in what he initially thought to be an attempt to impress Geza.

* '''Beleknegini''' '''[{{font color|#9C0400|Negative}}]''': Beleknegini was a strange case for András, and much like Geza, just as willing to abandon András. Sesztek was the only offspring of the bunch that either Beleknegini or Geza loved, and as a result when András was born, he was ignored by Beleknegini and sent away from her presence. Just like Geza, András doesn't really see Beleknegini as his mother and more so as one of his distant family members.

* '''Sesztek''' '''[{{font color|#FFB200|Complicated}}]''': Sesztek is unlike Geza and Beleknegini in that he was one of the few members to unconditionally love András as a brother. Their relationship was mostly alienated when András was sent to live with Clarence within the Abbot Upon Velencei Nemtujvar under the supervision of Father Marfi. Sesztek rarely saw András or any of his other siblings afterwards.

* '''Kallisztó''' '''[{{font color|#007408|Positive}}]''':
András wears typical clothing for an Imperial Nemesseg. His clothing is more open and is a shade of blue. Going down to the bottom of his coat is seafoam green. As his rank is an Alispan, he wears a single tall plum pinned to his hat with a silver emblem of the Lambda of Velencei. His hat is a deep brown fur with golden accents. He has a Noble Strap that is a dark shade of teal and has a a golden accent. Hanging from his noble strap is his Erdősi Longsword, which is a Khanda. He also wears brown pants with very dark purple leg dressings.

====Distorted Dimension====
András often wears the typical set of clothing for a Nemesség of his ranking, that being of an Alispán. As an Alispán, he wears a single plum on the top of his hat that is pinned down by a silver emblem of the Lambda of Velencei. His blue and seafoam green clothing has a deep blue outline. His fur hat is a deep rich brown fur color.  His standard dressing when with royalty includes a black cape, but the majority of the time he does not wear the cape. His strap is teal with a golden pattern on it.
During the progression of his journey, András develops the ability to begin lucid dreaming. He eventually is able to see and enter the Distorted Dimension, a weird space of reality. It exists within the mind of András, parallel to his world. András is the only one in the story who is aware of what the Distorted Dimension is. He can only enter the Distorted Dimension in his sleep. He is able to control certain variables and create almost simulations of the world, and can partially see outcomes to different decisions of the world.

! Clarence
| '''{{font color|#558E56|Positive}}'''
| András and Clarence have a very close male bond that is not obfuscated by the differences in their rank and their difference in species. András and Clarence have a relationship similar to that of a father-son relationship. Both of them grew up in the Abbey of Velencei Németújvár as children. Clarence however, is older than Andras and will often act as an ear to listen to Andras. Clarence often takes care of Andras beyond that duties of a normal monk would. In turn András is extremely trusting towards Clarence. He will often speak to Clarence about issues that he's facing that he doesn't want to talk about to the rest of the crew. The most notable of these is his interaction with his biological family members. Clarence, having been raised directly as a Bystriki Monk instead of the son of a noble by Father Marfi, Clarence is extremely prude and respectful of other nobles and people. He is, however, extremely protective of András.  Often times, Clarence is shown to be more strict with people who approach András, presenting himself as a servant of the young noble. Even in private, Clarence still often presents himself as the servant of András, standing up straight with a stiff posture. András is extremely dependent on Clarence's presence in order to keep his emotions in check. András tends to shut down and become withdrawn without Clarence's presence. His body language tends to slouch and draw inward, while his voice becomes hoarse and more murmurish. Because of Clarence's lack of understanding of language, András is the only one who can fully interpret Clarence.
|-
! Geza III
| '''{{font color|#9C0400|Negative}}'''
| András and Geza have a very untouched relationship, with András never fully understanding why Geza did not declare him his successor after Seszták's death. Shortly after being born at around 2, Andras was sent to live with Father Marfi and Clarence. Andras's view of Geza as a father is almost non-existent.
|-
! Beleknegini
| '''{{font color|#9C0400|Negative}}'''
| Andras and Beleknegini have an even colder relationship than Andras and Geza due to the fact that Beleknegini is not an Erdosi and Andras is not Hoditok. The relationship and how it's viewed between the two is not very obvious, and while there is no real outward hostility, there is very little interaction between the two beyond looking at each other.
|-
! Seszták I
| '''{{font color|#FFB200|Complicated}}'''
| András and Seszták had a rather complicated relationship where Seszták and András meeting was forbidden by Geza and Beleknegini, but was done anyway. András had always felt somewhat alienated by Seszták's acceptance of their separation. The last time András saw Seszták was after the coronation, after which Seszták passed away.

The Distorted Dimension is damaging towards András's mental health and pysche, the more time he spends within the Distorted Dimension, the more twisted characters become with their personalities and the way they act. When András sleeps for an extended period of time and spends too much time within said Dimension, he will eventually portray his own self-doubts and problems. Alongside this problem, András cannot interpret simulations more than once per time. The more that he creates within the Dimension, the more strain is put on his mental health. This is mostly seen when characters that are created, such as Clarence and the group, will begin to either attack or act hostile to András's presence.

===Outline===
The Distorted Dimension sometimes acts a herald of good or bad situations and outcomes, other times it portrays inevitabilities that are to come to András. Othertimes it comes as a nightmare to András, creating fictional scenarios that were never meant to happen. The Distorted Dimension's existence of great intrigue to Kallisztó and Mátyás, who wish to hear more of the Distorted Dimension.

====Storyline====
'''Clarence''' is one of the main characters and the central deutertagonist of Noble Dog. He is the adopted son of Father Marfi and was born to two unnamed parents who abandoned him on the steps of the Cathedral of Esztergom. When he was two, he was given to Father Marfi by Szerafin as Marfi was the only one who would raise the calf. Marfi at this point was the only Bystriki monk. Clarence would later be introduced to András almost as a brother. Clarence made it a point to be more of a father than a brother to András. When András grew of age and became an Alispan with Géza's coronation, Clarence left the Abbey with András.
'''Clarence''' is one of the main characters and the central deutertagonist of ''Noble Dog''. Clarence is András slightly older caregiver, the age difference is estimated to be about 5 years older but is not known. András was requested a caregiver by Géza III and Beleknegini from Szerafin, the Apostolic Presbyter, to which Father Márfi bestowed Clarence to take care of András. At an infantile age, Clarence was abandoned to the Cathedral of Esztergom by his parents. He was then sent to the Abbey Upon Velencei Németújvár where he was taken care of by Father Márfi, the only Bystríki monk in the Imperial East. He was one of the few permenant inhabitants of the Abbey until he was volunteered by Father Márfi to take care of the young Ispán András.

A rather humble individual that touches to his Bystríki roots that were taught and sowed by Father Márfi, he dons the usual wear of a Bystríki monk. Very unassuming clothes that consist of a simple undyed robe with a Bystríki Aureola, alongside shaving his head. He is not able to fluently speak the language of the Empire, but can read and write the language. He often relies on the written word, gestures and his body language to signal what he thinks. András having grown up with Clarence is able to interpret his body language better than anyone else. Very rarely he will express his emotions in the form of spoken language, but will only speak to András.

====Physical Traits and Appearance====
Clarence is taller than András and is posed as one of the more taller characters in the cast, trading off with a slim bodyset. Clarence is a Frisian Cow who comes from an unnamed country. He is unique in that his cow horns are tipped with wood that was hand crafted by Márfi as a gift. Clarence attempts to appear as clean as possible due to his relationship to the nobility. His main coat colors are primarily white and secondarily black.  Alongside this, he wears a brass Starred Cross that was gifted to him by Márfi around his necklace. It is strung together with simple rope, and extends no further than his torso.

====Personality====
Clarence is a rather quiet individual due to his lack of understanding of native language and his background as a Bystríki monk. He is considered to be a mute by many and often does not address other people outside of a headnod and a bow for important individuals. He often does not make noise outside of humming, nods and sounds of rejection, specifically when talking about András's plans or answers to specific questions. Clarence does not show much emotion outside of what is displayed through his mouth. Often times he is seen with a neutral expression with a slight grin. He often will naturally smile when András talks to him or when he is in the presence of Father Márfi. Outside of those two characters, he does not show much other expression.

Clarence tries his best to remain open-minded, forgiving and respectful of others. He is well adaptable to certain situations and picks up on new skills extremely fast. He is considered to be a jack-of-all-trades, embracing the idea of good at lots, master of none. His forgiveness shines well with Bethlen, but it also shines with the rest of the group. Many transgressions that are made against him, primarily by Calisto and Rhea, are considered by him to be easily forgivable. He gives his respect to all characters and never really hesitates to extend his arm out as a gesture of kindness. His committance to silence and the fact he is the only non-dog character sometimes reflects extremely poorly for the other characters within the group.

====Relationships====
* '''Andrew''' '''[{{font color|#007408|Positive}}]''': Clarence and András share a rather close male bond that emphasizes the cross-sectional background and traits that the two share. It is a relationship that is meant to be unique and is not reflected with other characters and their own relationships. The interpretation of the relationship on Clarence's side had always been seen as friends throughout their lives, and András almost as a safe-haven from the world. Clarence often does not get along with other characters that are encountered. Due to his race as a cow and lack of ability to speak the language, Clarence's silence often earns him suspicion from strangers. The majority of the characters that join András treat him with mystery, distrust or outright ignore his presence. As such, András is often seen as the only friend that Clarence has.

Clarence finds himself to hear out András, even if he cannot respond properly he attempts to do his best to respond and come up with effective solutions. András negative emotions affect Clarence and as a result, Clarence will become defensive on subjects concerning András or people interacting with András.

* '''Father Márfi''' '''[{{font color|#007408|Positive}}]''': Márfi is usually referred to as simply father by Clarence due to the existing relationship between the two. When Clarence was abandoned in Esztergom, he was sent under the care of Márfi by Szerafin. Initially seemingly like a plot to once again fill the empty Abbey, Márfi instead eventually began to view the young calf as his own son. Clarence would be taught by Márfi about the ways of a Bystríki monk, and later one Márfi would volunteer the young Clarence to help take care of András.

* '''Mother & Father''' '''[{{font color|#9C0400|Negative}}]''': Clarence has no concept of who his biological parents are and does not wish to be associated with him or his place of origin. The relationship that is demonstrated by Géza and Beleknegini towards András and himself, alongside his own parents willingness to abandom him leads to him have an askewed perception of parental relationships.

* '''Kallisztó''' '''[{{font color|#007408|Positive}}]''': Initially, Kallisztó is extremely wary of Clarence when the two are first introduced. Clarence, being an outsider from a foreign country of a different race is something that throws him off. It is not helped at all by Clarence's decision not to speak and as such, Kallisztó views Clarence in a somewhat untrustworthy manner. However, the relationship that Kallisztó believes the two to have is not mutual. Clarence does not really feel much other than the emotions that he displays to Kallisztó. He varies between showing friendship and an attempt to open himself the same way András and Clarence open up to each other.

* '''Rhea''' '''[{{font color|#9C0400|Negative}}]''': Rhea and Clarence do not interact much outside of when it concerns András. Neither Rhea nor Clarence go out of their way to really engage with each other, and Rhea is often found to be rather abrasive and in poor taste with her cavalier attitude towards András and Kallisztó. Clarence also finds the wear of Rhea to be rather odd. Despite Rhea considered to be a Kis-Jenő, she wears clothing not like the Kis-Jenő or the Jenő themselves, resembling outfits that are typically worn in the Imperial Southwest.

* '''Mátyás''' '''[{{font color|#007408|Positive}}]''': Mátyás is the most well liked character by Clarence within the group, over Kallisztó and Rhea. Mátyás attempts to be understanding of Clarence's nature unlike Kallisztó and is rather respectful of András unlike Rhea. Outside of András, Clarence often is seen interacting the most with Mátyás. However, Mátyás's interest of his nature is sometimes interpreted as simple intrigue into Clarence's odd nature, something Clarence is against.
===Géza III===
====Outline====

* Series: Second of Álmon Males, Third of Álmon Descendants.
* Species: Dog, Beagle.
* House: Velencei.
* Tribe: Erdős.
* Gender: Male.
* Position: Első Nemes of the House of Velencei.
* Alignment: Unaligned, personal alignment.
* Weapon: Erdős Longsword
====Storyline====
'''Géza Velencei III''' is one of the main characters and is a semi-hidden antagonist in ''Noble Dog'', later becoming a full antagonist. Ruthless in his method, he is the stone-hearted ruler of the House of Velencei seated in Esztergom. Nicknamed by his own father Álmo II as the ''Hódítók Bastard'', he is shown to be both savage and calculating in his rise to power. His removal of his elder brother Kálmán I through brutal murder and the removal of his elder sister Rozina I through elegant poisoning showed the extent to how far he was willing to gain power. He would later commit to the assassination of his nephew Emerbik II to prevent the only Kálmánian descendant from holding onto property. He was only striken sad by the death of his son Sesztek I, who he had seen as a true son. He does not seem to hold the same love or passion to András or the rest of his offspring, showing little regard for András when he begins an attempt at completing the Reliquary of Álmo I until András becomes involved in the politics of the Empire after the Lakottial Conference of Andrássy.

Geza III is not seen until during Andrew and Clarence trip to the Circle of Esztergom after being informed by the Lead Archivist Muron. Geza III, Beleknegini and his entourage of noble house courtiers meet Andrew and Clarence outside of the center building of the Circle. Geza shows the same love that he has shown Andrew, none. He learns of Andrew's pursuit of the information of the relic and recites to him the chasing of books and knowledge of the dead is not the Velencei way and that Andrew needs to embed himself into the politics of the land if he is able to advance further. When Andrew does not listen to his advice and Clarence is further offended by Beleknegini's gesturing and

====Physical Traits and Appearance====
Géza is an Erdős male, as such is of Beagle descent. Géza stands at around 5'9". In the ranking of his immediate family, he is smaller than András but a smidge taller than Beleknegini. He does not share the majority of his traits with the patrilinial heritage of the Velencei Males. Unlike either his brother Kalman and sister Rozina, he is of pure white coloration with no blemishes or secondary/tertiary colors visible. On his chest lies the Lambda of Velencei, holistering within the Lambda's Tridot, thought to be the Undertowed Lambda Circles. It is speculated that his color is descendended from a possible ancestor with one of Álmo's Salgói maidens, but the maternity of Géza is a well-kept secret. Géza's eyes are milky white due to severe cataracts that come from the fight that he and his brother Kálmán engaged in, with hints of hazelnut in them. He also has a fur mustache stemming from his age.

Géza as the highest ranking member of the House of Velencei wears a significantly more extravagant set of clothing aligning with his rank and wealth. As the Első Nemes of the House of Velencei, he wears a plumage of red feathers that are pinned down by a golden emblem of the Lambda of Velencei. His fur hat is completely black. When dressing to be seen in court or in royal presence, he dresses in a richly designed cape with a primarily green color. His strap is dark green with a silver jaded pattern on it.

====Personality====
On the surface, Géza III is a rather old and stern man with a lot on his mind, not much of which he is willing to say. He exudes a forboding atmosphere whenever he appears to be angry and his manner of talking is rather terse. Those he believes are underneath him in status he talks to with lack of empathy or any sort of real emotional acknowledgement. This is most present in discussions and mail between Géza and András. While András attempts to reconcile the relationship with Géza, Géza shows no real attempt at reconciliation or including András into what he saw as the bigger picture.

His most notable yet most hidden trait is his cunning and calculating nature. Paired with his arrogance and shrewdness, he sees nothing but the achievement of the ultimate goal of supplanting the Veszprém Emperor and the ruling House of Esterházy with a Erdős Emperor and the House of Velencei. He lacks any emotional bonds and keeps himself closed off from the world. The only person he truly held any passion towards was his eldest son Seszták I, who later died. His cunning and calculating nature was revealed when his murder of Kálmán I came to light, alongside his murder of both Rozina II and his nephew Emerbik I. He is obsessed with the goal of attaining political power.

====Relationships====
* '''Beleknegini Velencei-Hegedüs''' '''[{{font color|#9C0400|Negative}}]''': The relationship between Beleknegini and Géza is almost very clearly a farce. Neither of the two truly have any love for each other in their hearts and only desire to accomplish their own true goals.

* '''Sesztek Velencei I''' '''[{{font color|#007408|Positive}}]''': Sesztek was arguably the only offspring that Géza truly believed to be his successor. Sesztek was his first offspring and was beloved by Géza and Beleknegini and the one that was proclaimed to be the only successor of Géza as the Első Nemes of the House of Velencei. Géza was a true father to Sesztek and kept Sesztek around while he tutored the young man. However, Sesztek was later killed due to Betegség, to which Géza mourned over greatly at the loss of what he considered to be his only son.

* '''András Velencei I''' '''[{{font color|#9C0400|Negative}}]''': Géza never really considered András to be one of his potential successors, but at the death of his first son and András's elder brother Sesztek, Géza decided to push András into the political scene as the Alispán of Velencei Németújvár.

===Beleknegini Velencei-Hegedüs===
====Outline====
* Name: Beleknegini Tamar Velencei-Hegedüs
* Series: Third of Tamaric Females, Fourth of Tamaric Descendants.
* Species: Dog, German Shephard
* House: Velencei and Hegedüs.
* Tribe: Hódítók
* Gender: Female
* Position: Wife of Géza III.
* Alignment: Unaligned, personal alignment.
* Weapon: Arquebus.
====Storyline====
'''Beleknegini Velencei-Hegedüs''' is one of the main characters and a hidden antagonist in ''Noble Dog'', later becoming a full antagonist. Beleknegini is the mother of András and all of Géza's offspring. She has ingrained herself within the culture and society of the Imperial East, fitting in as a Hódítók with the manners and culture of an Erdős. However, she still holds on to her roots as a Hódítók. She considered her marriage to Géza III as a purely political marriage, and used it to mainly consolidate her position within both the House of Hegedus and the House of Velencei as a outside consort. Originally offered as a virgin noblewoman by her mother Tamar IV as an effort to help strengthen the political ties and position of the Hegedus within the Empire. As such, she does not feel much for Géza or her offspring, with the notable exception of Sesztek.

She is not completely unaware of Géza's plots, and herself helped in the assassinations of both her brother and sister-in-law, Kalman I and Rozina I. Primarily, she lured Kalman into spilling his own venality to her in a manner that Géza would be able to hear. Alongside that, she supplied the poison that Géza used on Rozina. With the two dead and Géza proclaim the Elso Nemes of the House of Velencei, she reaped the benefits of her newfound position. She began embezzling her wealth and sent much of it to her sisters in the Imperial South.
====Personality====
Beleknegini on the surface doesn't say much. Unlike Géza, she refuses to talk to subordinates who attempt to talk to her and holds an extremely pretentious, noble atmosphere. This is often reflected by her rather silent demeanor to her offspring that she had with Géza. In her appearance of Géza's coronation, she is completely interpreted as deadpan despite her own elevation to the wife of the Elso Nemes of the most powerful Erdős Noble House.

In reality, Beleknegini is almost as physchopathic as Géza, if not more. She does not feign any sort of emotion and opts for her deadpan expression. She does not feel remorse of the potential destruction that her plan would have and holds no real emotional bonds outside of the emotional bonds she has with her sisters in the Imperial South. ===Father Marfi===
{{Main article|Father Marfi (Noble Dog)}}
====Overview====
[[File:Marfi.png|200px|thumbnail|right]]
* Name: Father Márfi
* Species: Dog, St. Bernard
* Gender: Male
* Position: Abbot of Velencei Németújvár.
* Alignment: Unaligned.
====Storyline====
'''Father Márfi''' is the Abbot of the Abbey Upon Velencei Németújvár and the sole inhabitant of said Abbey, living in solitude. He is the last known Bystríki Monk that lives in the Imperial East and stays within the Abbey in an effort to preserve the religious history of the Abbey as a Bystríki monastery. Born under the elder ruler of Emperor Zgismond Esterházy I, Márfi's origins are relatively normal until his teenager years where he went to study the teaching of Bystríki monks who had began a pilgrimage to the Basilica of Erdős, which lied in the Imperial East. Running away from his family to join the Bystríki monks, he picked up on their way of living and was soon an ordained monk of the Order of Bystríki, and was to report to the Abbey Upon Velencei Németújvár. At the time, the Abbey Upon Velencei Németújvár was the first Bystríki Abbey that existed in the Imperial East.

Father Márfi, against the wishes of the Apostolic Presbyter Szerafin, refuses to host non-Bystríki monks as permenant inhabitants of the Abbey. As an elder of the community, he was alive during Álmo II's rule as the Első Nemes of the Velencei. During his time living in the Abbey, he grew a considerable collection of religious literature, being good friends with Álmo II who took considerable interest in the young Sió. In the migration of the Bystríki monks back to the lands of Sió, Father Márfi refused to leave the Abbey, and as such has remained the sole inhabitant. In the friendship that grew between Álmo II and Márfi, between Álmo II's curiosity and Márfi's gentle heart, Márfi was offered to become the godfather of all of Álmo II's descendants. When Álmo II died, Father Márfi became a hermit for almost a year in grieving, not speaking to anyone or responding to any corrospondence. The death of Álmo II's children, his godchildren strick him with grief as he had been introduced to them all. He would later stop grieving when a young calf was reported abandoned by its parents on the steps of the Holy Cathedral of Esztergom. He volunteered to raise the child, which was later approved by Szerafin due to a lack of people willing to raise the foreign calf. He raised the young calf in a manner consistent with Bystríki monks, living a life of asceticism and love. He showed the calf an acceptance and love of strangers with open arms.

====Physical Traits and Appearance====
Father Márfi is a Sió male, as such is of St. Bernard descent. Father Márfi stands at 5'8" and is smaller than either Clarence or András. He is often seen carrying a tall wooden staff that is visibly aged over time. A notable distinction of his fur coat is that his ears are three different colors: dark brown, black and white. Specifically, he has white tipped ears. He wears glasses due to his poor eyesight. He keeps his overall appearance as clean as his can, similar to Clarence. Well trimmed fur and no outlying chest hair of a typical Sió male. Father Márfi overall has an unassuming, rather plain and generic presentation to most people. He wears the same clothing that is normally worn of a person of his order, a set of plain brown robes.

Typically, Father Márfi will be carrying something as a result of his occupation of Abbot, as he is the only inhabitant of his Abbey and the only one to actually maintain it. He is most often seen with the staff that he carries. Other times, he will be carrying books for his studying. From time to time, when he is in the village itself he will be carrying both a book and the Kereszt.

====Personality====
Father Márfi is about as quiet as Clarence, and will refrain from speaking unless spoken to. Much of his mannerism that are reflected in Clarence come straight from the tenants of a Bystríki monk. He is an extremely calm and wise individual who shows a rather friendly but silent demeanor. His interactions with townsfolk are rather friendly as they donate food and water to him in exchange for the Abbey to be open.

He is a benevolent and loving individual with his outreach of transients or refugees that wander into the village. He often keeps the Abbey open to other to explore or read about. He is an open book when it comes to the history of the Abbey and his belief as a Bystríki monk. He often runs into conflict with non-Bystríki monks and the Apostolic Presbyter Szerafin due to his solitary nature. He is protective of the fact he is the last Bystríki monk within the Imperial East and does not appreciate Szerafin's efforts to have himself removed from the Abbey and placed back to the Imperial West in another abbey.

====Relationships====
* '''Álmo Velencei II''' '''[{{font color|#007408|Positive}}]''': Father Márfi was always within Álmo's eye of interest. Despite being older than Márfi, Álmo was extremely curious in the monk who refused to leave the Abbey in spite of his solitude and the pleas of the Apostolic Presbyter of the Imperial East, Szerafin. Márfi was originally the caretaker of Álmo II's ancestral reliquary, the Reliquary of Álmo I. Álmo II was the first one to learn of this as he had spent much of his freetime within the Abbey talking with Márfi. Márfi eventually decided that, due to the incompletion of the reliquary, he handed it over to Álmo II, under the promise that he complete the reliquary. Álmo II's death greatly affect Márfi and Márfi went into an extended period of mourning, closing himself off from the outside world and reclusing into the Abbey. Often times the Abbey was stated to feel completely empty as Márfi did not exit the buildings within the Abbey. Those who attempted to talk to him were often met with head gestures, and he would not respond to open-ended questions.

* '''Szerafin''' '''[{{font color|#9C0400|Negative}}]''': Marfi and Szerafin share an purely antagonistic relationship that is riddled with the religious politics that surrounds the Reliquary of Almo I and the ownership of the Abbey. Being the only Bystríki, Szerafin insists on evicting Marfi from the Abbey to supplant him with a new set of monks who have requested to live within the Abbey. Marfi, still as the Abbot and in the total domain of his Abbey, refuses to move.
Clarence is a humble individual that is in touch to the Bystriki roots that were taught and sowed by Father Marfi. He wears a typical garb like any Bystriki monk that uses very unassuming clothes. He speaks a specific language in which the only person who is able to understand him is Father Marfi. He otherwise, does not speak at all. He is usually reliant on his own body language and gestures in order to communicate anything. His own facial expression is almost always neutral, never really defaulting to positive or negative. At the time of the story's beginning, Clarence is an aide to András, acting as András's confidant and will often appear at András's side.

* '''Clarence''' '''[{{font color|#007408|Positive}}]''': Clarence considers himself to be Marfi's father, and as such does not refer to Marfi by his name and only as "Father". Marfi was initially given Clarence as Marfi was the only one who would take the young abandoned calf within the entire Imperial East when Szerafin set the call out for Clarence. Marfi gave Clarence his name and began raising him. Clarence was considered to be one of the few permenant inhabitants of the Abbey at the time, and at the age of 7 was briefly taken with Marfi to the Imperial West to be ordained as a monk. Marfi sees Clarence as his one and true son, and as the Abbot proclaimed Clarence to be the future Abbot of the Abbey, much to the displeasure of Szerafin.
===Physical Traits & Appearance===
Clarence, height wise, is taller than Heszda and shorter than László. He is the only cow character within the entire story, and has a set of horns with tipped wooden ends. Clarence appears very unassuming as a monk using simple brown robes as his only garment. He also wears a brass starred cross, something that was gifting to him by Marfi. It is strung together with simple rope that reaches his chest.

* '''Géza III''' '''[{{font color|#9C0400|Negative}}]''': Márfi and Geza have an extremely tense relationship after the death of Almo and the further deaths of Almo's children, Kalman and Rozina. Having known about Geza's true nature from Almo, Marfi holds no ill-will towards Geza but knows of Geza's cunning and deprave nature. Marfi does his best not to interact with Geza or Beleknegini. In the same light, Geza never really concerned himself with Marfi, even at the insistence of Almo. When Geza rose to become the Elso Nemes, he handed back the Reliquary of Almo I due to his disinterest of the Reliquary, something which was an explicitly hostile move on Geza's move against Marfi.

====Storyline====
===Storyline===
'''Kallisztó''' is one of the main characters of ''Noble Dog'' and the first person to join András's journey. Initially introduced as one of the unnamed archivists assigned to a project by Mürón, Kallisztó is a rather young man compared to many of the archivists, who reflect to the mid-age to elderly demographic. Having grown up around Salgói as his family friends, he finds the tribal tradition of knowledge and archiving to be rather boring. When Andrew meets Kallisztó, Kallisztó is engaged in a familial conflict over the archivist position that he landed. Kallisztó is a rather talented archivist and a good interpreter of many ancient works that derive from the Farkasi. When Andrew and Clarence appear in the Circle of Esztergom, he and another unnamed archivist are assigned to help Andrew with whatever he is looking for by Mürón. When Andrew reveals his intentions and when Kallisztó later finds out the standing of Andrew and Geza in their son-father dynamic, Kallisztó asks to join Andrew. Andrew initially rejects the help, but later accepts when Kallisztó meets Andrew outside the city asking again. The sword that he stole is part of a collection, the Hódítók's Slanted. The weapon he took was simply an ordinary Paramerion.
'''Kallisztó''' is one of the main characters of ''Noble Dog'' and a member of András's Crew. He is the first person that joins András's Crew, followed shortly by Rhea and Ildiko. He is the son of an unnamed archiving family that lived in the Megye of Gesta. He is initially introduced to the cast as one of several unnamed archivists that were assigned to help Andras by Mürón. Unlike most of the archivists, he is extremely young and much shorter than the rest, who reflect a primarily elder demographic. He displays an extreme adept knowledge of the history of the Balaton/Veszpremic, Hoditok and Salgo and knows about war more than he does about the more knowledge and philosophically intense Erdős studies. He is also a very good interpreter, knowing both Imperial Language and knowing Palatinate Wolf Language. Unlike Andras and Clarence, Kallisztó has a good lay of the political landscape than either of them.

Younger than Clarence but just a smidge older than András, he often relates to the same emotions and feelings of András. Kallisztó is an anxious, timid man who isn't really even considered a man by standard. He often shows some form of hesitation in following any sort of danger that involves him. Kallisztó also shows a bit of a childish and unaware background. Despite being a talented archivist, he finds extreme discomfort in Andrew's adventuring. He does find some interest in Clarence, a member of a race outside of The Empire despite his adherence to Imperial culture and much of Clarence's mannerisms. Kallisztó often attempts to poke and prod on Clarence and attempts to get Clarence to speak to him, which never works and often succeeds in making Clarence somewhat unnerved.

====Personality====
Kallisztó's character revolves around being impulsive as a young adult. A young man who believes they are ready to tackle what comes at them but has no experience on the reality of the world and has only stayed within the domestic political atmosphere in the Circle of Esztergom. Andrew and Clarence's presence often provide an extreme confidence boost in him and they will often volunteer to begin tasks that he feels scared or hesitant to do. With Rhea, he often finds that he synergizes best with Rhea in combat and in personality. He, however, sometimes comes off as arrogant and boastful when he completes something.

Kallisztó is also a bit of a hothead and is a big pushover. Combined with his impulsive nature, he is sometimes seen as a pushover. Other times he is seen as a powder keg. He shows some form of loyalty to Andrew, not in the sense of loyalty to one's higher up but rather as a loyalty to Andrew as his friend, something which comes to offend Clarence at times. He dislikes heirarchial structures and as a result, does not see Andrew as a full-on leader but rather as a guide.

====Physical Traits & Appearance====
Kallisztó is a Erdős male, as such is of Beagle descent. Standing at around 5'10", he is slightly smaller than András by an inch and one of the smaller ones of the group, rivaled only by Mátyás in short stature. Kallisztó is a primarily white color with a secondary muted chestnut color. His eyes are a simple brown color. His most notable defining fur-coat trait is his chestnut colored ring patterns that adorn his fingers individually.

Kallisztó wears the garbs of an Archivist of the Circle of Esztergom. He represents this with the color-code of a mainly dark blue clothing with golden highlights and trim. He often keeps his diary strapped to him at all times, even during fights.
Kallisztó is first introduced in the Harangtorony of Esztergom when Andras and Clarence first arrive there, and is assigned to him by Muron. When Andras reveals that he is the son of Geza III and that he seeks to follow north into the Megye of Gesta, Kallisztó attempts to convince him that they would be better with someone who knows the lay of the political landscape. He is the first person who actually directly mentions the feudal dispute between the House of Zamo and the House of Lipot. Andras initially rejects the help, but later finds himself pressured by Clarence to accept Kallisztó's aid. Kallisztó later meets with the two outside the city before Geza confronts Andras.

'''Rhea''' '''[{{font color|#007408|Positive}}]''': Initially when Rhea meets Calisto, she attempts to degrade him due to Calisto's size compared to herself, which sets Calisto off. While Rhea sees Calisto as somewhat puny compared to herself, she sees it as somewhat cute. Calisto sees Rhea as a giant and moreso views her overtime as a sister. The two demonstrate excellent fighting synergy and Rhea will often carry Calisto on her back as a way to defend herself from attacks from the back. Rhea and Calisto often make jabs at each other in a joking way that demonstrates their friendship.

'''Clarence''' '''[{{font color|#FFB200|Complicated}}]''': Clarence is seen as an oddity by Calisto. Due to Clarence's adherence to the religious practices of the monks and his status of a Bystriki monk, one of the rarest variations of monasticism in the Imperial East, Calisto takes an observational interest in Clarence's action. Much to Clarence's annoyance, Calisto does not demonstrate any sort of respect to Clarence's beliefs or his actions, often being interrupted by Calisto and his questions initially.

===Storyline===
'''Rhea''' is one of the main characters of ''Noble Dog'' and the second character to join András on his journey. Rhea was originally a member of a mercenary crew named, the ''Warlord Marauders''. She is a rogue Kis-Jenő who was born of criminal Kis-Jenő in the urban slums of Balaton in the Imperial West. As Kis-Jenő, they were nomads and tended to wander the Empire alongside the neighboring countries. At the age of 16, her family abandoned her in the City of Oroszlana, one of the original Farkasi cities left from the Proto-Imperial Era. She began to live and work as her parents did alongside the Hódítók women. She saw herself as a valiant and strong woman with no real ties to the Empire and rather to her own sword. She was one of the mercenaries that was hired by an independent Hegedüs warlord during the Hódítók Disunity. She earned her name in the bravado that she often showed during combat. Being a Kis-Jenő, she was significantly larger than her fellow mercenaries. During a skirmish that was initiated by a scouting mercenary band, she was pounced on by a Southern Veszpremic Lándzsai and had her eye injured.
'''Rhea''' is one of the main characters of ''Noble Dog'' and a member of András's Crew. She is the daughter of two fugitive Salavari Erdosi criminals who lived in Balaton in the Imperial West. She was originally a member of a mercenary crew, ''The Warlords Marauders''. Originating from a nomadic family of Salavari Erdos, her family wandered into the Imperial South and would later abandon her at the city of Oroszlana. When she was abandoned, she began to work as a mercenary for some of the Hoditok women. During the Hoditok Disunity, she came to see herself as an independent mercenary with no ties to the Empire, and soon after worked as a sellsword for primarily independent Hoditok warlords against the independent Veszpremic kings. She was one of many notable mercenary personalities that would mostly disappear from the public eye after the end of the Disunity. She had originally fought alongside László in the war, though the two were only acquanintences. During a skirmish against several Veszpremic scouts, led by Rakoczi, she was pounced on by a Veszpremic scout, resulting in the loss of her left eye. When the Disunity ended, she bounced around the Empire seeking potential mercenary employment. She was eventually sought out by Muron to work directly for the Circle of Esztergom as an expeditionary security detail. This ended up being psuedo-retirement as she was never deployed.

After the incident left her blind in her left eye, she continued being hired for mercenary work. After the Disunity had been ended and the Empire had re-established control of the area, she began bouncing around the Empire for potential mercenary work. During her time, she was hired by the Circle of Esztergom as a hired arm for potential expeditionary efforts. However, this led to her simply waiting in Esztergom for a potential job. When Andrew comes along, he is informed of the potential expeditionary mercenaries by Calisto. He chooses Rhea out of everyone and she begrudgling oblidges.
At the time of the story's beginning, she was found when András seeks to go on an official expedition to recover several relics that belonged to Almo I's Reliquary. Rhea eventually joins András's crew and when Muron attempts to pull her away, she declines, saying she seeks to relive her life as a warrior as opposed to a civilian.
====Physical Traits & Appearance====
Rhea is a Kis-Jenő female, as such is of Chow Chow descent. Standing at around 6'5", she is the tallest member of the group. She has a rather radiant shade of red with hints of white around her body, mainly on her chest and another white hint going down from the base to the tip of her tail. She is blind in one eye with that eye being white and a claw-mark scar through it. As a Coalitionist she has her eyes open, so her blind eye is always showing. The eye she can see with is brown. Rhea is the second largest character in size, and is beaten out by László.

Rhea wears a custom fitted outfit made of a mish-mash of Hódítók and Southern Veszpremic armor that fits her rather large character. Much of the armor she wears is damaged, dented or has certain bullet holes from Arquebusiers. Her fur is noticably untamed and out. She has a noticable bolt from a crossbow lodged in the left shoulderplate of her armor that is unable to be removed.

Neither Rhea nor Clarence go out of their way to really engage with each other, and Clarence is seen as rather overly prim and proper with Andrew in a way that she did not have to experience. His insistence on conforming to such respect that neither Andrew or Rhea want helps diminish the two's relationship. Rhea also finds Clarence's backstory of being a monk to be extremely odd, not having much experience with religion or monastacisim in general that the Sio practice that was taught to Clarence. Mátyás was originally an esteemed administrator who worked directly under Zgismond I in Zgismond's early reign. A graduate of the Imperial Administrations College of Andrassy, he was eventually hired as a private governing administrator for the House of Lipót under the then Elso Nemes, Auer Lipót I. When Zgismond died and the power vacuum between his offspring began, the Empire fell into a troubled, chaotic period. ====Storyline====
===Storyline===
'''Bethlen''' is one of the main characters of ''Noble Dog'' and the fifth person to join András in his journey. One of the members of the mercenary group, ''Lipót's Wings'', Bethlen herself is another veteran of the Hoditok Disunity. She was under the compulsory service of one of the Hoditok Warlords that had called her to service to partake in the war against several of the self-proclaimed Southern Veszpremic Kings. After the end of the Disunity, her family sought to bring peace back into their family life. Bethlen remained changed in the face of the Disunity, and she migrated her and her family into the Imperial East, acting as their protector and the benefactor. The money she made from the war that was paid by the Warlord went mainly to her family. While her family heavily disapproved of their past of fighting and war that perpetuated the Hoditok Disunity, Bethlen was indifferent. Coming off from the Disunity, Bethlen found her skill set was not nearly adaptive to the Rédicsi lifestyle that surrounded her in Salavar. She needed a way to continue supporting her family and her desperation led her to answering the call from Polixena II for mercenaries.
'''Ildikó''' is one of the main characters of ''Noble Dog'' and a member of Andras's Crew. Ildikó is one of many offsprings from the farming village of Györgymező within the Imperial County of Zalavar. Ildikó was one of many of her siblings that enlisted in the Imperial Army, and she alongside her siblings fought in the Hoditok Disunity. She fought under Géza Velencei's command in the 15th Army of the Empire, 7th Szabálytalan Division where she fought in several battles against the Balaton-Heviz Kingdom. After the war, she was relocated to serve as a member of the Államőrség in the Államőrség Eastern Noble Division as the commander of the guard unit attached to Andras. During the conflict between the Houses of Lipot and Zamo, Györgymező was looted by Lipot hired bandits and her family chased out to live with her in Velencei Nemj. Ildikó is not as trusted as Clarence is, but she is still kept within Andras's inner circle that he will talk to her freely.

Her time within ''Lipót's Wings'' mainly involved attacks targeting rural Erdős farmers that lived within the Estate of Gesta. During Andrew's travel into Gesta, he encountered Bethlen and the ''Lipót's Wings'' beginning an attack on a family of innocent Erdős farmers. In their defeat, Bethlen begged for mercy to Andrew, giving Andrew what was essentially his first taste of a weighted choice was. When Andrew spares Bethlen, she asks to join him out of fear of what Polixena and the Lipots will do to her after their failure.
When Andras's guard is dissolved by Geza upon their arrival in Esztergom, Ildikó refuses to leave Andras and subsequently is branded a criminal by Geza.

The two do not interact much because of Bethlen's confusion around Clarence due to his species and mannerisms, but Bethlen tries to act in a way to gain Clarence's approval. Bethlen seems to hold Clarence's approval and redemption in his eyes as more weighed to her than Andrew's approval.

With Rhea's bravado comes a twisted sense of justice that she wants to see dispensed upon Bethlen, and when Bethlen throws herself at Andrew in a bid for mercy, Rhea says that Bethlen needs to die for her crimes. After Bethlen joins, Rhea holds some distrust for Bethlen and does not see Bethlen as her equal. Bethlen herself shares an extreme form of anxiety against Rhea that is triggered by Rhea's presence or Rhea's direction towards Bethlen during conversations. Bethlen often does not speak when Rhea speaks in conversations held by the group and does not speak to Rhea directly.

===Storyline===
'''László''' is a main character in ''Noble Dog'' and the sixth person to join András on his journey. He is a highwayman and a notorious criminal who sided against the Rédicsi houses after the death of a friend and his family from ''Lipót's Wings''. Considered to be a highwaymen by some, he is known moreso by the Erdős as a hero and a sort of purveyor of justice against the Rédicsi mercs that terrorize Gesta. He has never come face to face with a member of ''Lipót's Wings'', but is prolific in the amount of Rédicsi mercenaries and nobles that he has killed. Often times acting as a lone wolf and other times as part of the crew, he is most notorious for a raid he committed against a Lipot Estate, in which he killed Auer II, the son of the Elso Nemes Auer I of the House of Lipot. Much of László's past is obscure. He was not present for the Hoditok Disunity but is an extremely proficient fighter and also the only known person within the group able to use a firearm properly. The Ornate Arquebus is actually a one-of-a-kind Arquebus, one that he looted from the Department of Letenye after killing Auer II. The most notable part of its design is Auer II's personal feather dangling off of it, something which unnerves Andrew.
'''László''' is one of the main characters of ''Noble Dog'' and a member of Andras's Crew. László is a notorious mercenary that has earned the nickname of ''The Blacktail''. His name, ''The Blacktail'' is derived from his helmet, which uses the fur of a Northern Vadászmenyét as the embossed helmet tail. He is a mercenary that served alongside Rhea in the Hoditok Disunity as a member of the ''Warlords Marauders'',

Andrew and his crew stop at a trading post near Gesta which is in the middle of a raid by László and some Erdősi militiamen. While Andrew does not recognize him, Bethlen does recognize him as one of her targets, but does not explicitly say so, instead phrasing it as a method to recruiting him. Despite his known brutality and often underhanded methods of undercutting the Lipots, Zamo and other Rédicsi Noble Houses, Bethlen knows of László's strength and bravado that she relates to him. Bethlen tells Andrew of László and his reputation, but Andrew sees him rather as a romantic hero saving his kind instead of a criminal. As such, much to Bethlen's dismay, Andrew makes a bid to recruit him. László is the first to actually give a condition that they must help, that they help the Erdősi militiamen retreat back to hiding in their hidden quarters. László does this in the knowledge that Andrew is a noble, seeing if he can trust him as Andrew himself is the same Erdősi that his fellow militiamen are. That is where they learn the nickname of László, ''Blacktail'', from the militiamen.

====Personality====
Laszlo is a straight-laced and no-nonsense man who has a strong sense of justice and an even stronger sense of protection. Much of his reasoning is mainly categorized by self-preservation and by fairness. He is distrusting of all nobility, even more so of the Redicsi nobility. While he is easy to gain the trust of, he is always prepared on the off chance that the loyalty he shows is not returned. Having worked with both Redicsi and Erdosi militia that have attacked innocents and belligerents, he is always prepared to switch sides in the event of a betrayal.

====Physical Traits & Appearance====
'''László''' is one of the main characters of ''Noble Dog'' and a member of András's Crew. László was a notorious mercenary for hire that earned the nickname of ''The Blacktail''. One of the mercenaries like Rhea, Atlas, and Racozki, László carved his name in blood. His name is derived from his helmet, which substitutes the typical embossed helmet-tail with a Northern Vadászmenyét Tail that goes down. László was originally part of a family of mercenaries, and when the Hoditok Disunity erupted, László joined. László and his nickname, ''The Blacktail'' became synonymous with uncertain loyalties. Often considered unbribable, László eventually fought within ''The Warlords Marauders'' alongside Rhea. László later became a fugitive after assassinating a member of the Court of Omens. Captured and escaped several times over, he made his way to the Imperial East becoming a sellsword. He was later hired by the Vandorolt Redicsi House of Zamo in an effort to fight against the House of Lipot mercenaries.
László is a Rédicsi male, as such is of Great Pyrenees descent. Standing at 6'3, he is the second tallest member of the group, behind Rhea. László is larger than all other characters of the group. He is a purely white Great Pyrenees with the exception of his black tail. His eyes are pure brown, but are mainly rendered as pure black. Size-wise, he is the largest of the the group.
===Appearance===

László wears the outfit of a Redicsi farmer, opting for more warmer and worn colors. He distains the use of armor and refrains to equipping any sort of armor, opting instead to stick to his clothes and quick wits. László, like Rhea, is noticably untamed and out. His clothing is extremely worn, but not too tattered and remains in one piece. He wears a long scarf that originally belonged to Auer II's sister, Polixena II.

'''János''' is a main character in ''Noble Dog'' and the seventh person to join Andrew on his journey. He is initially the prisonkeeper of Fenenna IV's group and speaks to Fenenna IV on their behalf for the most part. János is an extremely loyal dog to Fenenna, however he is also loyal to whoever supplants her as his master under the current unstable political climate. He was originally a tribesman for Fenenna IV's predecessor Gabriel II before Fenenna killed him in a duel. When Andrew faces Fenenna IV in the group's bid for a safe release, János sees Andrew has his new leader and devotes his loyalty to him. Despite not being able to understand much of Clarence's character, János takes a huge liking to Clarence's calming presence and rather silent demeanor. Unlike Mátyás and Kallisztó's sometimes unnerving curiousity, János seems to respect Clarence and his boundaries.

Before János entered Andrew's group, Clarence did not know how to use any weapon and refused to learn how to use a sword or a melee weapon of any kind. During their imprisonment and the fraternization that János and Clarence commit, Clarence seems to begin picking up on the usage of a bow. During this time, Andrew experience a sort of jealousy and harbors fragments of resentment against Janos due to the bonding relationship that Janos and Clarence have.

Szerafin came from a line of Salgoi military officers and was meant to be a officer within the Imperial Army as his father and ancestors. He left this life behind and escaped on a passageway to the Imperial West into Sio territory, where he would take comfort with other runaways and escapees inside of the Sio abbeys and places of worship. There, he was influenced by the priest Sapieha, an influential monk on leave from his posting in the Imperial East in a church under the Cathedral of Gesta. Szerafin afterwards travels to the same church to work under Sapieha, where he then mets the then Apostolic Presbyter Oleś.

===Storyline===
'''Géza Almo Velencei III''' is one of the main characters and one of the antagonists of ''Noble Dog'' . Géza III is Almo's second born son and third born descendant, after Kalman I and Rozina I. Géza is the Elso Nemes of the House of Velencei and one of the most powerful politicians in the entire Imperial East, having direct control of almost all of the Imperial East Estates of Gesta and Esztergom. When Géza was born, he was considered to be the worst of Almo's descendants. While Almo prioritized his eldest son Kalman, he noticed Géza's tendency to fight and pick on Kalman. While not outright, Géza had various tendencies to be violent, and was nicknamed by Father Marfi as the Hódítók Bastard. Géza III would later marry Beleknegini, not really out of love but more to appease his father and to legitimize his own bloodline. When Almo II passed away from age, Géza III and Beleknegini would plot against Kalman and Rozina, and would eventually kill both them and Kalman's son Emerbik II to ascend to Elso Nemes of the House of Velencei. Through his own methods, he solved the financial crisis that the House of Velencei had incurred under Kalman and would unite many of the different noble Erdősi houses under his own council against the Venderolt Redicsi in the north of the Imperial East. When Seszták died at the age of 19, he did not declare András to be his successor.

Szerafin, Sapieha and Oleś were instrumental in the creation of the Religious Archive of Gesta, a collection of theological works that belonged to the Bystriki monks that concerned observations and hypothesis on the Seven Apostles. When Oleś passed away, Sapieha turned away the position and requested Szerafin, who had worked hand in hand with Oleś, to be promoted by the Lakottial Deak. Szerafin is most noted for his attempts at displacing Father Marfi back into the Imperial West with the other Bystriki monks due to Marfi being the only Bystriki monk in the Imperial East and the only inhabitant of the Abbot Upon Velencei Nem.
Géza is first seen when András and Clarence, along with their escort of Erdősi militiamen make their way to Esztergom in search of potential info on the relic they seek. Géza is uninterested in what they're looking for, but is informed by Muron when András is in the city. Géza furiously storms to where András is in the capital and makes it known to András that he and Clarence are not welcome in the capital, and blames András for the death of Seszták. When he hears of the vision András had of Almo I, he accuses András of being delusional and insane. Géza, in secret, is planning on entering the Civil War of the Three Emperors against all three of the claimants and seek to establish Erdősi supremacy.

* Weapon: Erdősi Sword.
====Storyline====
'''Kálmán I''' was the former Első Nemes of the House of Velencei and took the post after the passing of his father Álmo II. A rather greedy individual, his rule was largely overshadowed by his own father's rule. While Álmo II had increased the overall wealth of the House of Velencei, Álmo II died in the middle of a dispute with the Rédicsi House of Zamo. Kálmán attempted to continue the overall wealth growth to no avail with pressure mounting from the House of Zamo, specifically over the rule of the Circle of Gesta.

In the face of the mounting economic pressure, Kálmán resorted to selling rare and valuable copies of select books that were highly sought out, especially specific books that discussed the life of several saints that followed in the wake of the Seven Apostles; and several books discussing the history of the Farkas. This venality would cost him his life. When this was found out by Géza III, Géza determined to kill Kálmán. Kálmán was later herded into his living space by Beleknegini, where Géza confronted Kálmán and would eventually overthrow Kálmán by personally beating him to death with a sceptre. Kalman was not immediately killed, and fought back. This resulted in the injury and near-blindness that Geza experiences.

====Storyline====
'''Rozina I''' was a former Alispán of the House of Velencei and the only daughter from Álmo II. Rozina prided herself in her faith and trust, seeing trust as honorable and did not get along with either Kálmán's venality or Géza's plotting. She was initially considered to be the true heir of Álmo II as the Első Nemes of the Velencei. At the forefront of the disputes with several different Rédicsi Noble Houses, Rozina put a valiant effort into resecuring the countryside which she had suspected had been under threat from Rédicsi-hired bandits and highwaymen. Rozina spent much of her adult life with her father in Gesta until his passing, where Kálmán instead was crowned due to a lack of a proclaimed Első Nemes successor.

Rozina was the one who originally discovered Kálmán's venality through the selling of rare and valuable records and books that were considered to be the property of the Velencei. Most notably, she had discovered a caravan of Rédicsi who were making their way back to Rédicsi-controlled Gesta that was filled with books. She told Géza, who saw it as both a way to eliminate Kálmán and a way to redeem the House of Velencei from the path Kálmán set them on. Unfortunately, this would cost Rozina's life, as after Géza killed Kálmán he set his sights on Rozina by poisoning with the help of Beleknegini.

====Storyline====
'''Atlas''' is a mercenary that acts as the main enforcers and the arms leader of Polixena's spy network, the ''White Shadows''. A veteran of the Hódítók Disunity, he often times found himself hired by the Southern Veszpremic kings that seeked to establish themselves. He proved himself during the Disunity to be a fierce warrior, earning a name that was akin to Rhea's during the war. He was well known for his brutality and his pure strength that he demonstrated during battle. As a Kis-Hódítók, he was one of many who was seen as a potential threat to the sociopolitical atmosphere of the traditional Hódítók lands during the Disunity. After the end of the war, Atlas mainly wandered the Imperial South after the subsequent chaos. Unlike Rhea, Atlas became a known rival within the political power vacuum of the Hódítók lands. Being the only Kis-Hódítók and only male political person of importance within the Imperial South, he subsequently hired the spies Vilma and Abigail for their espionage services. This eventually came to Atlas widening the political power vacuum by staging the Blazing Tower, where with the help of some of his hired help and Vilma & Abigail, he set the tower of one of the most powerful Hódítók Noblewoman on fire, Greta Hegedüs II.

All other characters and official records know the two exclusively as Greta and Mora. Both characters are sometimes easily confusable between the two. Vilma tends to work behind the scenes while Abigail tends to work hands-on and upfront. Much of their backstory before their service as spies in the Hódítók Disunity is not known. During the Hódítók Disunity, Vilma and Abigail were originally both spies for Souther Veszpremic Warlords and worked to weave a web of political problems and power vacuums that were mainly focused around the theft of valuable cultural items, assassinations and campaigns of disinformation. Eventually, when the Hódítók Disunity ended, Vilma and Abigail were once again hired by a specific warlord, Atlas.

He was later then hand-selected by Almo II to become the Vice Head Archivist of the Circle of Esztergom, which he accepted, working by the then Head Archivist. When the then Head Archivist retired, Mürón was elevated to Head Archivist. When Andrew and Clarence come to the Circle of Esztergom, he greets them personally and gives them a tour of the Circle of Esztergom. One of many of the migratory houses, they originated from their homeland in the Imperial West and migrated towards the Imperial East. She is the second-in-line for the head of the House of Lipót, however she acts more like the Első Nemes  of the House Lipót. She is the main Lipót claimant to several departments within the Estate of Gesta. She is the true commander and the mastermind behind ''Lipót's Wings'' and an investor in war profiteering. Ever since the death of Zgismond I and the installment of his son Janos IX, Polixena has invested more money into efforts to overthrow several different Noble Erdős Houses that control the departments she claims.

After the defeat and disbandment of ''Lipót's Wings'' with Bethlen defecting and joining András, Polixena begins work on a new project that is meant to target the overarching power, the Imperial Court. '''Father Marfi''' is the Abbot of the Abbey Upon Velencei Németújvár and is the sole inhabitant of the Abbey. Father Marfi is a Bystríki Monk, and is the last Bystríki Monk that still lives within the Imperial East. In the time beforehand, the Bystríki monks removed themselves from the Imperial East and relocated into the Imperial Central. Originally born under the rule of Emperor Zgismond Esterházy I, Marfi turned to Bystrík's teachings and left the Megye of Csongrad in the Imperial North to join a pilgrimage through Morahalom, Salavar, Gesta and end at the Basilica of Erdos. He has lived a more ascetic life than most other monks within the Empire would enjoy, and became an ordained monk and would later make the travel to the Abbey Upon Velencei Németújvár.
'''Zgismond I''' was the former Emperor and the leader of the House of Esterházy, the largest noble house within the Empire. He was the father of Janós IX, the incumbent Emperor; alongside his siblings Michael IV and Katalin III. Zgismond's rule was marked by his consolidation of central powers and his dedication to, what he percieved as an enlightened authoritarian. He filled his court with both intellects and nobles in an effort to draw more participation into the affairs of the Empire. In his stead, he left the Empire in a stronger, more unitarian state than it had faired earlier.

'''Atlas''' is a mercenary-for-hire that is primarily aligned with the Lipot and Policena's spy network, the ''White Shadow''. Atlas was historically a mercenary that was hired during the Hoditok Disunity by the Southern Beszpremic Kings. During this war, he was one of many personalities that came to make a name out for himself, similar to Rhea. At the end of the Hoditok Disunity, he became a political figure within the Imperial Southern government. In the Megye of Kaposvar, Atlas led a variety of small riots and civil disobedience movements against the Hoditok rule. During this time, he hired the twins Vilma and Abigel. After most of the riots and movements had been defeated, he disappeared into the Imperial East.

  • Species: Dog, Beagle.
  • Gender: Male.
  • House: Velencei.
  • Tribe: Esztergom Proper.
  • Position: Alispán of Velencei Németújvár.
  • Alignment: Coalitionist.
  • Weapon: Helvécian Royal Sword (Khanda)

Storyline

András Géza Velencei is one of the main characters and the central protagonist of Noble Dog, and the leader of Company of the East.

Physical Traits & Appearance

András is a teenage male Erdősi, about 17 years old at the time of the story's beginning. He stands at about 5'9". Almost his entire heritage and physical appearance is direct from his patrilineal heritage of Velencei Males. He is however, the only one with his color pattern, where his colors are split perfectly half-and-half. He has the Lambda of the Velencei on his forehead, with the Three Dots of Knowledge on his head. His eyes are a shade of deep blue, one of the few traits that he retained from Beleknegini.

Relationships

Character Name Relationship Description
Clarence Positive András and Clarence have a very close male bond that is not obfuscated by the differences in their rank and their difference in species.
Geza III Negative András and Geza have a very untouched relationship, with András never fully understanding why Geza did not declare him his successor after Seszták's death. Shortly after being born at around 2, Andras was sent to live with Father Marfi and Clarence. Andras's view of Geza as a father is almost non-existent.
Beleknegini Negative Andras and Beleknegini have an even colder relationship than Andras and Geza due to the fact that Beleknegini is not an Erdosi and Andras is not Hoditok. The relationship and how it's viewed between the two is not very obvious, and while there is no real outward hostility, there is very little interaction between the two beyond looking at each other.
Seszták I Complicated András and Seszták had a rather complicated relationship where Seszták and András meeting was forbidden by Geza and Beleknegini, but was done anyway. András had always felt somewhat alienated by Seszták's acceptance of their separation. The last time András saw Seszták was after the coronation, after which Seszták passed away.

Clarence

Outline

Clarence PFP.png
  • Name: Clarence
  • Species: Cow, Frisian.
  • Gender: Male.
  • Position: Former Bystriki Monk of the Abbey of Velencei Németújvár.
  • Alignment: Unaligned.

Storyline

Clarence is one of the main characters and the central deutertagonist of Noble Dog.

Physical Traits & Appearance

Clarence, height wise, is taller than Heszda and shorter than László. He is the only cow character within the entire story, and has a set of horns with tipped wooden ends. Clarence appears very unassuming as a monk using simple brown robes as his only garment. He also wears a brass starred cross, something that was gifting to him by Marfi. It is strung together with simple rope that reaches his chest.

Kallisztó

Outline

Kalliszto PFP.png
  • Name: Kallisztó
  • Species: Dog, Beagle.
  • Gender: Male.
  • Tribe: Erdős.
  • Position: Archivist at the Circle of Esztergom
  • Alignment: Coalitionist.
  • Weapon: Hoditok War Sword.

Storyline

Kallisztó is one of the main characters of Noble Dog and a member of András's Crew.

Physical Traits & Appearance

Rhea

Outline

Rhea PFP.png
  • Name: Rhea
  • Species: Dog, Chow Chow
  • Gender: Female
  • Tribe: Salavar Erdős
  • Position: Mercenary-for-hire employed by Circle of Esztergom
  • Alignment: Coalitionist.
  • Weapon: Unique Naginata-Polesword

Storyline

Rhea is one of the main characters of Noble Dog and a member of András's Crew. She is the daughter of two fugitive Salavari Erdosi criminals who lived in Balaton in the Imperial West. She was originally a member of a mercenary crew, The Warlords Marauders.

Relationships

Character Name Relationship Description
András Neutral András and Rhea have a very undeveloped relationship. While the two are not standoffish, the two seem to lack anything to really discuss. Andras's prim and proper attitude clashes with Rhea's more common and down-to-earth demeanor. However, Rhea views Andra as a competent and capable leader compared to her former living quarters. Andras often comes to her with questions on combat, as Rhea is more than capable of combat with a variety of weapons.

Ildikó

Outline

  • Name: Ildikó
  • Species: Dog, Beagle.
  • Gender: Female.
  • Tribe: Erdős.
  • Position: Erdősi Militiaman.
  • Alignment: Unaligned.
  • Weapon: Erdősi Sword

Storyline

Ildikó is one of the main characters of Noble Dog and a member of Andras's Crew.

When Andras's guard is dissolved by Geza upon their arrival in Esztergom, Ildikó refuses to leave Andras and subsequently is branded a criminal by Geza.

  • Species: Dog, Borzoi
  • Gender: Male.
  • Tribe: Salgo.
  • Position: Pro-Erdősi Revolutionary.
  • Alignment: Coalitionist.

Storyline

László is one of the main characters of Noble Dog and a member of Andras's Crew. László is a notorious mercenary that has earned the nickname of The Blacktail. His name, The Blacktail is derived from his helmet, which uses the fur of a Northern Vadászmenyét as the embossed helmet tail. He is a mercenary that served alongside Rhea in the Hoditok Disunity as a member of the Warlords Marauders,

László is one of the main characters of Noble Dog and a member of András's Crew. László was a notorious mercenary for hire that earned the nickname of The Blacktail. László and his nickname, The Blacktail became synonymous with uncertain loyalties.
