Chaldea, officially the Republic of Chaldea (Chaldean: ܩܘܛܢܝܘܬܐ ܐܬܘܪ), alternatively the State of Babylon, is a nation located in the northeastern part of the Middle East. It's capital and largest city is Babylon.

Chaldea is considered by many to be the "centre of ancient culture on the Middle East", as historical re-building and the Modern Renaissance are stronger there than on any other place of in the region, aside from Israel or Gilan, (the re-building of Babylon, including the Ishtar Gate is a great example of that).
