Turkmeneli (Turkish: Türkmeneli), officially the Republic of Turkmeneli (Turkish: Türkmeneli Cumhuriyeti) is a country located in Western Asia. It borders Kurdistan to the north, Assyria to the west, Jazira to the south, Chaldea to the southeast, and Iran to the east.

Turkmeneli is a unitary semi-presidential republic. It is one of several independent Turkic states and an active member of the Turkic Council and the TÜRKSOY community. Turkmeneli has diplomatic relations with 348 countries and holds membership in 38 international organizations, including the United Nations, the Non-Aligned Movement, and the OIC.

Assyrian-Turkoman conflict
