The year is 1969. It has been about ten months since ''Jack Mannera'' arrived in the nation of Bostaeze. He lays down, thinking about the craziness from two months ago when General Siajan was killed and Warrant Officer Louie Torres revealed that the war has been going on for years, despite the announcement of the war only happening eight months prior to that moment. A week after the battle, he was promoted to Corporal. A flashback happens showing the moment. Private Moreira approaches Jack and says that General Castro would like to see him. In ''General Clifton Castro'''s makeshift office, he says that he would like to reiterate how impressed he was with his duel with the Bostaezian super soldier, although he still believes that he didn't do it alone. He promotes Jack Mannera to Corporal, saying that he did the impossible and has shown so much talent after ten months. Jack is very thankful. Outside, Luke and Tony celebrate with Jack.
The film starts in 1976. A man, ''Jack Mannera'', wakes up in some weird cell. Before he has a chance to do anything, the movie cuts to November, 1982. A war in Ushaudal is raging and ''Sergeant Shawn Avillio'' stares at this mutated super soldier (''False Condor'') with a caped hero standing over him. The hero, Captain Vitosium, leaps off and walks towards Avillio before asking if he is okay. Avillio nods sheepishly and thanks the hero. There is a news broadcast covering Captain Vitosium's latest defeat of the Ushaudalian super soldier, False Condor. In a bar, Shawn Avillio talks to his buddy, ''Sergeant Tulio Braga'', about seeing Captain Vitosium face to face a week and a half ago and how intense it was. In walks ''Chief Warrant Officer Tony Dawson'' and ''Chief Warrant Officer Luke Balentos''. The bartender recognizes the two. The two of them talk about tensions still being there in Ushaudal. While Luke feels like there is a lot of progress being done, Tony expresses how stressed he is from the amount of work he's had to do outside of being on the battlefield. Avillio is ecstatic to meet two war heroes. While Tony is a bit dismissive, Luke appreciates their enthusiasm. As they leave, Luke tells Tony that he can be a bit more positive in life. In the car, Tony expresses that it has been seven years since they left the simulation and the whole experience really messed with his head, especially the cover up. Luke admits that it was hard for him too and he hasn't fully re-adjusted to civilization but his therapist says to try and be more positive so that is the approach that he is taking.

Back in the present, he sits with ''Amaro, Luke Balentos, Moreira, Santos and Tony Dawson''. ''Private Costio'', ''Private Mandao'' and ''Corporal Toza'' approach them and also sit down, with the group all discussing home life. As Louie Torres sleeps, he dreams about his small battle against General Albior Siajan, finding him oddly weak. He wakes up and joins the group before being called out of the tent by ''Lieutenant Rocha''. A shot rings out. Many, including Jack, exit the tent to find Lieutenant Rocha dead on the ground with Torres standing above him. He tries to explain that Rocha pulled a gun on him as General Castro comes outside and orders Torres to be killed for fragging. Torres manages to escape while many are confused over what just happened.
When the two get to their apartment building, they notice a familiar man in front of their two apartments: Jack Mannera. The three of them are sitting in Luke's living room. Jack says that the past six years have been intense and the three of them will be called back to Ushaudal within the next month. Luke is annoyed as he just got engaged a week ago while Tony is calm, a mix-up of how the two were earlier. They are both curious as to where Jack disappeared to for the past six years. Jack says that he can't say anything about it but he can confirm that he is now the military's new superhero. Luke says that superheroes and supervillains seem like there were just a fantasy from comic books and, now, everything they experienced in the simulation is real and has been real for the past ten years. Agliyya, Vitosium and now Ushaudal have super soldiers and it is absolutely frightening. Tony gets a phone call and walks to the kitchen. He comes back and says that it was just his doctor setting up an appointment to see him. Luke asks which doctor it is, to which Tony says Dr. Val, who is out of town. He's been seeing Val since 1977.

It is now four months later. Jack Mannera monologues about missing his family and not having seen Louie Torres since the incident with Rocha. A part of him believes that Rocha pulled a gun as he may have been threatened by Torres' power or was even a mole. He also mentions no super soldiers from the Bostaezian army being seen in any battles since his showdown with The Warden months ago. He also mentions that the late General Siajan has been replaced by General Ossuad. Jack notices that he is a little stronger than usual. After a few days, he notices how he is getting stronger and stronger by the day and confides in his close friends, Luke Balentos and Tony Dawson, who are shocked to see how much stronger he got in four days. In the battle that ensues later that night, Jack is able to use his newfound strength to his advantage and help win the battle. General Castro asks to see him in his office, where he mentions how everybody is getting a little freaked out over this sudden strength due to the previous super soldiers and asks if he has been taking steroids. Jack says that he hasn't and General Castro says that, if he is developing superpowers, he needs to know how. Nobody knows where the powers have come from and he has speculated that the Bostaezian government could be behind it. Jack says that his theory is, definitely, supported by General Siajan and The Warden. Plus, after that battle, no Bostaezian super soldiers have appeared. General Castro then asks if he has seen Warrant Officer Louis Adalberto Torres since he killed Lieutenant Rocha, to which Jack says he hasn't.
Jack visits his mother, ''Melanie'', and his step-father, ''Alex Gouveia''. His siblings, ''David, Eddie and Teresa'', are also there. Everybody is excited to meet him! Teresa talks about having her fourth baby a month ago, David discusses being a real estate developer and Eddie says that he has published his sixth mystery novel. Melanie asks when Jack is going to leave the army as he has been gone for years and years at a time. Jack says that he's due back in Ushaudal in three weeks and he would love to spend as much time as possible with his family.

Before they can continue, another battle happens with Jack showing off more of his super strength. He then notices a few Bostaezian super soldiers, which shocks everybody. While he manages to come out on top, albeit barely, Mandao and Santos are killed. While they all believe that the battle is over, a surviving super soldier drags Costio and Moreira away, one in each arm, but Jack manages to save them and defeat said super soldier.
It is three weeks later: January 1983. Jack is seen putting on his Captain Vitosium costume as ''General Atílio Faria'' comes in the room. He says that it is an honour to be in the Captain's presence. He says that Ushaudal has an unusually high activity of super soldiers. The next three months will determine who wins the war in the end. General Faria says that his recent capturing of False Condor was amazing and he knows he will help them win the war. After he leaves, ''Lieutenant Márcio Monteiro'' comes in and says that it has been a few years since he has been checked up on. The One Percent wants to know how things are going. Jack says that his powers are working well and wonders why he needs constant surveillance from The One Percent. Lieutenant Monteiro says that since the incident with General Castro, as well as developing his second ability, they want to keep an eye on their greatest creation. Captain Vitosium says that he is helping his nation because of his loyalty to Vitosium, not because of some shady government organization.

It has been two weeks since that last battle. At night, Jack ventures off into the woods, coming across regular Bostaezian soldiers, who Jack deals with. Louie Torres then comes up behind him and expresses glee that he is still alive, to which Jack expresses that same glee. He then shows off his newfound super strength and says that he woke up like this. Torres is very confused and said that it's very likely that the government is up to something. Torres then remembers that he is wanted for fragging but Jack says that he doesn't believe it was that--he believes it was self defense. With the random heart attacks and now this, he feels like the Vitosian super soldiers are being targeted. Jack says that he is so happy that he is still alive and will come back earlier in the evening so they can talk about this more.
It cuts to the Vitosian army in Ushaudal battling against Ushaudalian soldiers. A super soldier appears, only for Captain Vitosium to fly in and knock him out. Cue a battle between Captain Vitosium and three different super soldiers at the same time. Later, at camp, everybody celebrates. Sergeant Avillio and Sergeant Braga notice Captain Vitosium enter and alert everybody, who cheers for him. Avillio comes up to him and admits to being inspired by him to join the military. Captain Vitosium says something very encouraging to him, smiles, and heads for the General's office. Chief Warrant Officer Luke Balentos walks past them and into the General's office to announce to the General and the Captain that he may have discovered a nearby Ushaudalian base. That night, the Vitosian army experiences an ambush and, thanks to Captain Vitosium, the casualties are minimum. He notices a soldier escape underground and follows him, discovering an Ushaudalian laboratory. After fighting off soldiers and two super soldiers, he discovers a room that has a sleeping Louie Torres in it. He is held at gunpoint by Dr. Andreas Valentine, who reveals that this is, indeed, Louis Torres from the Vitosian army. Despite being fatally stabbed by General Castro while in the simulation, he was able to act quick and save him. Captain Vitosium, not phased at all, is curious why a Vitosian scientist is working with the Ushaudalians.

The next night, Jack meets up with Louie in a small clearing. They are suddenly ambushed by Bostaezian soldiers, including a super soldier, which leads into an intense fight. After their victory, Jack asks Torres what happened with Rocha. Louie says that he was called outside by Rocha, who then immediately brought out a gun and aimed it at him. He felt like Rocha was afraid of him and tried to talk him down. Before he knew it, he grabbed the gun out of his hands. Rocha then reached for a knife and that is when he fired. General Castro and a few Vitosian soldiers come out of the forest into the small clearing. Castro shakes his head, saying that Mannera lied after all about having seen Torres. As the soldiers aim and fire at the pair, Castro walks back into the forest. The duo escape the soldiers and notice Castro suddenly vanishing. The pair come to the conclusion that General Castro is one of them. As the super soldiers appear to wake up one day with powers, Jack wonders if the same happened with the general. Louie doesn't care and finds that none of this makes sense. Have super powers always existed? Is there an awakening when you get them? Jack says that Louie brings up some good points. Suddenly, Louie suffers from a heart attack, which causes Jack to panic and try to save his friend, albeit unsuccessfully. Castro appears behind him, saying that he was hoping that he would be different than the others. He said, time and time again, that General Siajan was behind it but, instead, they always tried to see if that was a fact or just some theory. Maybe he should have worded it better. This leads to a fight that sees Castro as an invincible being. As Jack is lying on the floor, badly injured, Castro says that, before he dies, he will confirm one thing: the super powers aren't random. He, personally, chooses who gets them.
At that point, Andreas Valentine runs away while aimlessly shooting at the hero, thankfully missing. Valentine is heard using a walkie-talkie, telling somebody that Captain Vitosium discovered Torres and he needs back up. At that point, a masked super runs up to Captain Vitosium and uses portals to battle him, giving the hero a hard time. The battle ends with the masked super running away while Captain Vitosium continues to chase Dr. Andreas Valentine. He then runs into a small, familiar prison. It then flashbacks to 1976. Dr. Valentine is seen behind a couple of scientists looking at Jack Mannera in the cell. Back in the present, a voice somewhere in the room says that his name is Dr. Andreas Valentine, the head scientist of this branch. He comes out, leading to an intense gun-fu fight between Valentine and his arsenal of weaponry and Captain Vitosium and his fists. Valentine manages to escape again when the Masked Super makes a second reappearance and portals him away. Captain Vitosium heads back to the room with Louie Torres, who wakes up with a major headache. He searches the table and screams for Dr. Valentine, who doesn't appear. He then falls back unconscious but not before many things in the room are knocked around with his telekinesis.

As Castro vanishes, Jack tries his hardest to get up. As he struggles, he then finds himself in a large glass casket filled with a strange liquid surrounded by others. The real Clifton Castro, with a knife, is standing over him. As Jack rips the tubes out of him, Castro then flees. Jack escapes the casket and notices his body looking different. He shakes it off and chases after Castro, who begins to monologue. He reveals that he is, in fact, a former military general. He is heading this project looking to create super soldiers for the Vitosian army. As Jack corners Castro, he also reveals that he choose him as well and put him through a test. He holds up the empty vial labeled XF-63K. Scared, Castro drops the vial, which breaks. Jack asks why he looks so different. Castro says that the time in the simulation and the time in real life works differently. Jack has really been in the simulation for six years. Suddenly, the fear leaves Castro's face and he reveals that he was shocked to see the son of Major Gabe Mannera joining the army at his branch. His brother, William, didn't see the same potential he saw and told him to send him home. However, he knew in his heart that William wanted to protect him (Jack). Jack asks how he got everybody into the simulation. Castro says that the terrorist attack at the boot camp was his doing--he did it to get the soldiers with potential onto the plane to drug them. Jack is shocked about the terrorist attack and says that innocent people died during that. Castro reveals that it was intentional and even had his own brother targeted as he didn't see him as useful anymore. Jack asks if Bostaeze is even real with Castro saying that the nation and the war were fabricated within the simulation. When Jack asks how such technology even exists, Castro says that it has for decades thanks to The One Percent and he was chosen to oversee the project. Guns are now pointed at Jack from all directions as Jack realizes that he was answering questions to stall for time. As the guns fire, Jack manages to knock out every soldier there while Castro is shot and injured. Jack then knocks Castro out and runs to find a phone to call the authorities.
Back at camp, Chief Warrant Officer Luke Balentos asks Captain Vitosium in private if he is Jack, to which the hero nods but tells him to keep it a secret as he could be killed for knowing that information right now. Quietly, he warns Balentos to steer clear of Lieutenant Monteiro. As the Captain begins to walk away, Jack says that the past six years makes sense and he hopes that they can find a way to take down the organization. As Captain Vitosium enters the main tent, the General calls him into his office. Inside his office is a tall man in a suit named Victor "Vic" Fieri, who asks to speak to the Captain in private. After the General leaves, Fieri says that he wouldn't normally talk to somebody in a large scale battlefield like this but he has no other choice. He asks if he is the Captain Vitosium of this dimension, to which the hero nods, confused. Fieri says that he found his way here, somehow. In his dimension, countries like Agriyya and Ushaudal don't exist and Vitosium seems much more peaceful to an extent. He even recognized Luke Balentos, who was a war hero that died in his dimension back in 1979. Apparently, he is in 1983 as opposed to 2003. The hero is very confused on the situation and asks for clarification that he is from another dimension. Vic Fieri says that, in his dimension, there was no Captain Vitosium. The man behind the mask died in 1977--friendly fire. He didn't even become Captain Vitosium. He asks for his help to return to his dimension, although the hero doesn't know how. Fieri says that it was a masked super that called himself, "Alternum". When the hero asks who he is, he says that he is Vic Fieri of SPAULDER, an extra-governmental counter-terrorism and intelligence agency, tasked with maintaining both national and global security.

It dawns on Jack that it is now August 1974. As he leaves the building with the cops rushing in, he notices that he is somewhere in Gatovita, Kingsland. A week later, he is shown visiting Luke Balentos and Tony Dawson in the hospital. Luke reveals that the government has covered up the whole incident. Apparently, after the war in Agliyya, the nation has been at peace and whatever happened with them is to not make it to the public. He advises Jack to pretend to have amnesia about it. Costio and Toza, unfortunately, learned the hard way. Later that day, he is seen visiting his mother, Melanie, who is very happy to see him. She says that she heard that he was in Restroenia helping the civil war going on there. She reveals a letter saying that Jack Mannera was promoted to Warrant Officer. As the news talks about a war brewing between Vitosium and Froiland, a knock on the door has a couple of soldiers ask for Warrant Officer Mannera. As music plays, it shows a little montage of him in the war using his super strength against the opposing side. Roll credits.
The two of them are in the underground Ushaudalian laboratory. Fieri notices an empty bed with his name (''Victor Michael Fieri II'') on it and is even more confused. Just then, they are ambushed by a crazed Louie Torres, who keeps calling himself, "Lethal Lynx", a codename Valentine came up with for him. An intense battle between Captain Vitosium and Lethal Lynx, who is now wearing an outfit similar to Lethal Lynx's outfit from the comics, commences. The battle is stopped short when Lethal Lynx flies backwards into a portal created by the masked super, who Fieri recognizes as Alternum. As Captain Vitosium fights Alternum, Fieri notices Dr. Valentine and runs after him. Cornered, Fieri demands to know why he is here and who Alternum is. Valentine says that he wanted his experiment back but it appears that the Victor Fieri who they captured from 22-K was, indeed that dimension's Fieri and not their own. He had Alternum try to bring him back but it appears that he failed. The battle between Captain Vitosium and Alternum rages on, ending with Alternum opening a portal to 22-K. Fieri and a critically injured Valentine jump through the portal, not intentionally by Valentine, while Alternum pushes the Captain through, who grabs onto Alternum and brings him into 22-K as well.

All four appear in the streets of Gatovita where Captain Vitosium and Alternum continue their fight. In the end, the hero manages to unmask Alternum to reveal him to be ... Tony Dawson. SPAULDER comes in, arrested both Alternum and Dr. Valentine. Captain Vitosium realizes that he is no longer in his dimension (74-R) anymore with Fieri welcoming him to the year, 2003. He invites him to join SPAULDER as the credits roll.
