Developement
The KV-17 was designed in 1991 by Leonid Iseav and a few others. The project was requested upon the Brasilian government so they can have a better fighting chance in the Brasilian Civil War. Deployment
The KV-17 was first used in combat during the Brasilian Civil War and was proved a worthy tank. As tensions grew in Africa, the KV-17 served a lot of tank divisons in Algeria, Congo and Niger. The first time the Russians used it for combat was during the Ruso-Norwegian Border Skirmish, other usages were:
