'''Marklin-Ashton Holdings Group Limited''' is a [[Gristol-Serkonos|Gristo-Serkonan]] manufacturer of {{wp|engines}}, {{wp|luxury cars}}, and {{wp|grand tourers}}. The company was founded in 1795 by industrialists Philippe Ashton and José Marklin-Deer as a manufacturer of steam engines. It successfully manufactured its first gasoline-powered internal combustion engines in 1878 and soon founded an automobile division two years later, releasing the Marklin-Ashton Automobile Model 1 after years of testing in 1889. Full ownership transferred to Philippe Ashton's descendants after the Marklin-Deer's family decided to sell its ownership stake in 1947.
