An Ilyushin-76T, owned by the 184th supply squadron of the Salamati Airforce, from Narqa Military Airport in destination to Douara-Thalathi Military Airport, took off at around 6:10 pm local time on February 16 1990. The plane crashed 2 and a half minutes after taking off, due to a fire on the right wing of the plane, which spread to an engine.
