| The president is appointed by the Speaker of the General Kiuva (the Freician legislature) and serves a term concurrent with that of the General Kiuva. He or she is responsible for presiding over meetings of the Council for the Administration of Government, which serves as the Freician cabinet, and for representing Freice overseas.
