The Greens (Mespalian Liberâlicquinen pârti, French: Parti libéral) is a liberal political party in Mespalia.

Together with the Conservative Party, the Liberals were founded soon after Mespalian independence from Ainin and dominated the Mespalian political landscape during the 19th century. Unlike the Conservatives who supported protectionism and favored the Aininian aristocracy, Liberals were supported by the bourgeoise of both Aininian and Mespalian descent and thus supported free trade. It also promoted the Mespalian language and wanted to make it an official language of the state. The party also opposed the monarchy and supported the establishment of a republic

However, with the rise of socialism in the late 19th and early 20th centuries, Liberals lost much of their voters to the social democrats. Its membership and vote share decreased for much of the 20th century, although it has slightly increased in the 21st, halting the slow decline of the party.

Today, the Liberal Party describes itself as a broad liberal party. However, much like the Conservative Party, Liberals are a big tent party and include several factions inside the party. These include leftist social liberals, nationalist national liberals, libertarians and moderates.
