[[Althaeinism]] is the largest prevailing religion in Mykalimonia. The religion has existed before they first inhabited the area of present-day Alysthenes in 614 IE. Most of the area in and around the city were inhabited by native Kalavikan tribes and were converting rapidly as the tiny state grew. Since its founding, it has remained an integral and dominating part of Mykalimonian life and culture, and no recorded schisms have occurred to-date. A 1384 census estimate that just below 99 percent of the population adhere to Althaeinism. Although illegal to practice publicly, the Ok'lizuzan religion of Huacuan is estimated to be adhered to by the remaining percentage of Mykalimonians, which are generally located in the far-northern parts of Mykalimonia.
