Britonisea has participated in the World Hit Festival 30 times as of the 50th World Hit Festival being held in Vodiznad, Izmedu. Britonisea first competed at the 14th World Hit Festival, which was held in Vampirum, where the nation received only three points - the least amount of points Britonisea has received to date and 13 points with the song, "Give Me Strength" by Gavin Stacey. Britonisea has had a bumpy road at the World Hit Festival in it's beginning, citing their being obvious voted against - proving that the rival WorldVision Song Contest showed that the nation was not the problem. This mentality by both the average viewers and the broadcaster The Britonisea International Television Company (BITC) meant there were several withdrawals from Britonisea at the start of the nation's career at the World Hit Festival.
The first time that the contest that the World Hit Festival was broadcast in Britonisea was the 10th edition, on the channel The Britonish Eyes (TBE). Over the three editions TBE broadcasted the channel, it received an average of 5.8% of the television viewers (1.5 million viewers average). After terminating the contract mid-contract, BITC decided to take it up, broadcasting the festival on their main channel (BITC One) where viewers gradually rose from 12.3% in the 13th World Hit Festival to 20% by the 24th World Hit Festival. At the time, the highest Britonisea reached was 6th, causing them to terminate their contract. Channel 7, IGBK - the ABEN-wide channel - was behind the entry for the 25th and 26th World Hit Festival. On both occasions, Britonisea received their best results (5th and then 1st). When given the rights to host, IGBK dropped out and the now current broadcaaster, the Brityunik Vefecosoin Cairkovoin (BVC), Channel One took over. Since World Hit Festival 26, BVC and Britonisea has hosted the World Hit Festival three times. Twice after winning (27, 38) and once after coming second place, but Mercedini declined hosting.
Nowadays, the World Hit Festival averages around an audience of 40% of television viewers, though this might be because of the recent hosting by the nation. At the most recent World Hit Festival 39, Darkmania received an audience of 35.9% equalling 9.98 million viewers, which marked a dip in the amount of viewers since World Hit Festival 38. The selection method that BVC uses, apart from it's yearly Vha Mehlodhivestoile, is internal selection.
History
Hostings
The World Hit Festival 27 was the first time that Britonisea hosted the competition. They hosted after Rigas Jengiz won the World Hit Festival 26 after an intense tiebreak with runner up, Izmedu. BVC agreed to take up the rights to the contest, including hosting, after IGBK stated that they did not have the money to participate or to host.

Voting Reveal Explanation... Similarly to World Hit 26, the top 5 points and the 1-4 will be split up and will be announced separately. Unlike the World Hit Festival in Kalosia, this contest will provide the current position of the nation during the 1-4 period. Then there is a revert to Kalosia's first period procedure of announcing how many 5 points each nation has received. Again, this will take 2 days and the order will be randomised. On the 5th and final day, the points from the 5 points or the top points (as they will be called) will be added together and the winner will win. Tiebreaks will happen through the nation who received the most amount of total nations together. |
- World Hit Festival 35
The World Hit Festival 35 was the second time that Britonisea hosted the competition. They hosted after Etela Tomac came second at the World Hit Festival 34. Mercedini, the winner of the previous contest, had given up the rights to host the Junior World Hit Festival instead. Thus, BVC took up the rights to host the competition. This was the second time that BVC agreed to host.

Voting Reveal Explanation... The voting segment will follow a similar procedure brought in by Britonisea in World Hit Festival 27, but ultimately, we will be using the segment which was used during the 34th World Hit Festival. Unlike during the World Hit Festival 27, we will show nations go up and down the scoreboard during the second phase, and the hosts will announce the 5 points instead of the host. The voting segment will be made by BVC to ensure the that it is as tense as possible, and the winner is not known until the end. In order to ensure fairness, OOCly, Britonisea's (and the puppets Britonisea uses) votes will be sent to Izmedu straight after the IC thread is open, to prove the hosts impartiality and to ensure transparency. |
- World Hit Festival 38
The World Hit Festival 38 was the third time that Britonisea hosted the World Hit Festival, after Dean Boyst's win at the 37th edition in Kalosia. This marked the second time that Britonisea won in Kalosia, and the second win by BVC.

- World Hit Festival 43
The World Hit Festival 43 was the fourth time that Britonisea hosted the World Hit Festival, after Evangeline Hope's win at the 42nd edition in Kalosia. This marked the third time that Britonisea won in Kalosia, with BVC winning for the third time.

The voting segment followed the same procedure used in by Britonisea in World Hit Festival 35, with the hosts announcing the 4-1 points before going around to each nation's repsective spokespeople, who will announce their nation's five points. The voting segment will be made by BVC to ensure the that it is as intense as possible, and the winner is not known until the end. |
- World Hit Festival 47
The World Hit Festival 47 was the fifth time that Britonisea hosted the World Hit Festival, after Vhe Qi's win at the 46th edition in Izmedu. This marked the first time that Britonisea won outside of Kalosia. BVC won their fourth title and, as a broadcaster, hosted for the fifth time.

Unlike in previous hostings, the exact overall points during Phase I were not announced, with BVC only providing a ranking of the nations on the side panel. This was to make it unclear how far ahead or behind the leading nation was. |
- World Hit Festival 49
The World Hit Festival 49 was the sixth time that Britonisea hosted the World Hit Festival, after Gigi Vadenbonceur's win at the 48th edition in Llalta. As Estogium came second and Britonisea recently hosted the 47th World Hit Festival, Britonisea asked for assistance from RVC, the broadcaster for World Hit Festival for neighbouring nation, Estogium, to help host. The decision was that Estogium and Britonisea would host in the largest city the two nations share; Alshkan.

This "Mystery nation" format was also used in World Hit Festival 51. |
- World Hit Festival 51
The World Hit Festival 51 would have been the seventh time that Britonisea hosted the World Hit Festival, after Meghan Jorgensen's record-breaking win at the 50th edition in Izmedu. Britonisea declined to host for the first time ever, citing the joint BVC/BITC WorldVision Project being the main reason, but also give another nation the chance to host. The contest was held by Todlichebujoku.
