The Jilin-31 is a Yuaneze single-seat, twin-engine, supermaneuverable aircraft which was developed in 1994 and introduced to the People's Liberation Army of Yuan in 1994 as a successor to the Jilin-26. It is the main fighter aircraft for the Yuaneze military. It incorporated canards and a multi-function radar giving it multi-role capabilities.
