The arts of Warpcraft, alternatively known as Witchcraft, Sorcery, Psykery, or Psionics among other names, is a means of influencing the physical realm by manipulating the energies of the empyrean which is common to the Imperial Sector of Telstein. Within the native populations of the Sector there are vanishingly few, if any, who can cast magic through other systems, though since the Starshift there has been a steady contact and intermingling with populations of the mistverse who have other means of manipulating the empyrean.
