The ministries of Costa Madora are the principal government agencies, which comprise the executive branch of the government of Costa Madora.
Structure
Each ministry is headed by a minister, with the exception of the Ministry of Justice, which is headed by the Attorney General. Secretaries of state are administrative heads of the ministries, reporting to the head of the Madorian Administrative Service, which also includes all government employees.
The heads of the ministries are appointed by the Prime Minister, and take office upon approval by the National Assembly. They serve at the pleasure of the Prime Minister, and can be reshuffled or dismissed with a motion of no confidence. The heads of ministries are members of the Cabinet of Costa Madora and are included in the line of succession to the President, after the Vice President and the leadership of the National Assembly.
