The Blackhelm-Loretto Agreement is a 1997 agreement whereby Blackhelm Confederate diocesan bishops are nominated by the Vatican after a process involving the Blackhelm Confederate Senate and the Blackhelm Confederate Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

History

With the fall of the Empire of Exponent, there was debate over who would take on the role of nominated bishops - a role formerly reserved for the Emperor as outlined in the Concordat of Albandaea. This led to a diplomatic meeting between Chancellor Lucius Blackhelm and Papal representatives.
