The Guldliga is the highest level of the [[Eldmark|Eldmarsk]] football league system. With 16 clubs, it operates on a system of {{wp|promotion and relegation}} with the [[Eldmark|Eldmarsk Football Union]]. Typically, seasons run from September to April, with each team playing 30 matches against all other teams, both home and away. Games are typically played on Saturdays and Sundays, however games can sometimes be played on weekdays.
