The National Space Exploration Administration (ANEE) is an independent agency of the Carinansian serene government responsible for the civil space program, aeronautics research, and space research. Established in 1979, ANEE succeeded the National Advisory Council on Space (CANE) to give the Serenacy space development effort a distinctly civilian orientation, emphasizing peaceful applications in space science. ANEE has since led most Carinansian space exploration, including Project Anul, Project Virgo, the series of moon landings from 2030 to the present, the Matamoros Space Station, and the Carinansian Space Elevator. ANEE currently supports the Carinansian Lunar Colony and oversees the development of the Hyla spacecraft and the Space Launch System for the crewed Jovian Quetzalcoatl program and the planned solar colony missions.
