The Lappland Air Guard is the aerial branch of the Lappland Home Defense Force. The Air Guard patrols Lappland's airspace and assists the Lappland Coast Guard and Lappland Home Guard with aerial support for various operations.
History
The Lappland Air Guard was established in 1938, initially operating as a dedicated air defense component to offset the Home Guard in anti-air defense.
