Tiger in a Van is a Gaellician rock band formed in Tigranevan, Adrarus in 2007. The band is fronted by Brigid Gilcríst on vocals, Luc Damabrin on guitar, and Jean-Pol Farrell on drums. Founded as Maîtresse by Gilcríst, Damabrin, and drummer Jason MacTorn, the band changed their name after repeated confusion with a similarly named Lysian band. The 2010 name change coincided with MacTorn's exit, with Farrell brought on as his replacement. Touring members include brothers Apov and Nicolas Ronan and rhythm guitarist Faolan MacLamb.
