Kurīmusōda is a Neo-Korean soft drink created and produced by the Kurīmusōda Seizōgaisha Iminchebol. It is known for its wide variety of flavors, fairly wide export across Esvanovia through distribution deals with non Neo-Korean companies, and simplistic recipe. It is sold in aluminum bottles, a departure from the more common plastic or glass bottles used abroad. It generally tends to have a pale-pink or white-red coloration, although certain drinks (such as Urimusōda or Toropmusōda) have more vibrant coloration.

Ingredients

Kurīmusōda is notable for having a broadly unchanged base recipe since its creation during the Kāichrén Civil War, with its three core ingredients being immediately acquirable from the area surrounding the country (and trade with Paimiru, in regards to cane sugar). Attempts to consider changing the recipe in 2002 were struck down by the operating officials of the company, who rightfully perceived such an action as potentially detrimental to continued profits. Kurīmusōda generally attempts to cater added ingredients to specific markets, with many variants of Kurīmusōda which are otherwise common never being seen in certain nations throughout the course of decades.

History

Kurīmusōda would come about as a result of the emigration of Tadashi Oki to the then Anagonian-Controlled Chamorro Islands, with his exposure to Anagonian soda products prompting him to use his chemistry and mixology knowledge to attempt to create a new staple beverage for the Kāichrén market. This was born out of both personal reasons (a belief that drink was a form of cultural commonality which may be able to unite the warring homeland) and capital reasons (a lack of currency after the loss of his job as a chef), with Oki smuggling himself back to the mainland on a routine shipping trip from the Chamorros-to-Matsumae. He would ingratiate himself amongst the leadership of what would eventually begin Neo-Korea, and in exchange was given a role in the government of the recently reoccupied Fuzan, which he would use to begin testing formulas for a soft drink.

He would eventually decide on a simple three-flavor concoction, owing to a lack of resources for more complicated ventures - and with the reclaiming of key resource extraction locations, he would create a bottling plant in Fuzan which would begin to package and ship his Kurīmusōda. This would be successful, seeing many of the newly reintegrated populations taking a liking to the beverage, especially soldiers.

Flavours

The original flavor is a simple cream soda, with a more overt ice-cream based soda coming to existence shortly after the reunification of the Neo-Korean State. Including these two, there have been a total of 60 flavors throughout history, of which 42 are still in production.
