Azureah (IPA:ˈæʒɚɹˌi͡ə) ,officially the United Republic of Azureah, is a federal bicameral parliamentary republic located in the north of the Orrasian Continent on the planet of Krystar. It shares its border with ? in the east, ? in the north, ? in the south and ? Ocean in the West. The country is situated in the basin of River Athana and the Mouth of the largest river in the continent is situated at the western borders of the country towards the ocean. The Administrative affairs of the country happens from its capital Cyanara located in the Cyanara Province of Azureah. Cyanara is a major economic and cultural hub along with other major cities in the nation like; New Ferrerah, Khormez and Nehrath. Azureah has a democratically elected federal government which rules according to the constitution of the country and is headed by the Chancellor of Azureah (Head of Government and state). Azureah has an area of 390,000 square miles with a population of 86.25 million according to the most recent estimates.

In 1888, the modern states of Azureah were officially formed, uniting three different empires into a single nation. This unification aimed to enhance economic stability, political cohesion, and cultural unity. It set the foundation for a robust democratic system, leading to the first elections in 1890 and paving the way for Azureah's growth and prosperity. The Unification also brought an end to the long standing monarchial system in the region. The Unification of Azureah was a result of the seventy year old struggle which came to be known as the The Unification Struggle for the re-establishment of democracy in the region.

Etymology

The name ""Azureah"" is derived from a blend of multiple classical languages.The most believeable understanding of etymology of the term is that it is derived from the Persian ""lāžward"" (لاژورد‎), referring to lapis lazuli or the color blue and by the Hebrew word "ruach" (רוּחַ), meaning "breath" or "spirit," signifying the essence of the nation. There exists multiple theories which talks about the origin of the term and one of them says it is derived from the name of the language Azurii. Azurii is the indigeneous language of the Azureans and is widely spoken throughout the country. Another popular theory links to the Athanasian Tribals that used to inhabit the banks of River Athana. It is said that these tribals used to worship the river and used to call her "Athanos". When the river used to flood, the tribals believed the river goddess was getting angry. This Ferocious form of the river goddess was known to be "Azura" and that later got to be turned into "Azuryah".
