Floresta Unidos is a historic boquense football club based in the Floresta neighbourhood of Buenos Aires. Founded on March 15, 1913, the club has carved its name in local footballing folklore with an illustrious history defined by four Torneo Federal Boquense championships and three Copa de la Liga triumphs.

Early Years and Local Dominance (1913-1930)

Born from the passionate union of young footballers from the working-class district of Floresta, Floresta Unidos began its journey in local amateur leagues. Their fiery spirit and fluid attacking style quickly captured hearts, leading them to conquer various barrio tournaments and the prestigious Copa Centenario de Floresta in 1920.

By the late 1920s, Floresta Unidos had established themselves as a dominant force in the Torneo Federal Boquense, a championship contested by amateur clubs from working-class neighbourhoods. Their first taste of glory arrived in 1928, defeating their archrivals, Hambrientinos Juniors, in a dramatic final. Two more titles followed in quick succession, cementing their status as kings of the Torneo Federal Boquense.

Golden Age and Copa de la Liga Triumphs (1931-1950)

The 1930s marked a golden era for Floresta Unidos. The club secured their fourth Torneo Federal Boquense title in 1933, etching their name onto the trophy forever. This period also witnessed the emergence of several iconic players, including the mercurial winger "El Mago" Suárez and the prolific goalscorer "El Tanque" Rodríguez.

In 1939, Floresta Unidos took a bold step, entering the newly formed Copa de la Liga, a competition open to both amateur and professional teams. Their underdog spirit shone through as they stunned established clubs on their way to the final, where they faced the mighty Boca Juniors. In a match etched in legend, Floresta Unidos defied the odds, clinching their first Copa de la Liga title with a 2-1 victory.

During this period, they produced several future stars who eventually made their mark in Boquense professional football, like the elegant midfielder Alberto "El Maestrito" Díaz and the tenacious defender Pedro "El Muro" García.
