Bellacoola is the second-largest city of Nual, after the capital Heiltsuk. It has a population of 69,490. Bellacoola is located in a valley of the Asarana Mountains at the confluence of the southward River Vorsynth (which begins on the Parabocan border and feeds into Lake N'hala in Mönusÿnthys, Gladysynthia), and its northward distributary Yatalk River (which empties into the Northern Ocean). The city is remote, but has gradually grown due to the coal mining and forestry industries, as well as an emerging tourism sector.
