The North Bardonian Petroleum Corporation some, sometimes shortened to NBP, is the state-owned petrol corporation of North Bardonia. Established by Alexander Herios and the North Bardonian Government in 1936 after the discovery of oil in Surdistan the company was a collaboration by the state and the private sector (3/4 state owned, 1/4 private). The company specialized in crude oil production & distribution

The company has faithfully served the nation by delivering numerous economic benefits and implementing programs (sponsored by the government) to improve the standard of living in North Bardonia. Most of these programs have been targeted towards citizens but NBP is also a member of the North Bardonia Sovereign Wealth Fund (NBWealth) which has buoyed much of the nations economy

Some of the corporate history was an agreement with Tayichi petrol corporations in the early 1940’s which increased the competitiveness of NBP’s petroleum and allowed for an expansion of production. Globally the increase in oil prices and demand for petroleum in the 50’s and 60’s fueled corporate growth and helped the North Bardonia Economy grow with proceeds being invested locally.
