The Kundalini (Chinese: 昆达里尼; pinyin: Kūndálǐní, from Sansrkit कुण्डलिनी lit. coiled snake) is an empowered state where the user is able to use the base of the spine as a conduit for drawing Cosmic Energy.

Overview

A Kundalini has several levels, each one corresponding to a part of the body. Thanks to the influx of Cosmic energy, Kundalini allows its user access to a suite of skills impossible otherwise in addition to increasing the potency of the user's regular skills and opening up the potential of new variations to them. However, this influx puts the user's body at a strain, provided it lacks the strength and durability of that of a Celestial, necessitating serious physical conditioning before attempting to attain this state. For the same reason, Kundalini can only be used in limited durations and sparingly.

A Kundalini user can transfer their Kundalini to others, either temporarily unlocking it for them or increasing the target's level to that of the donor. In the case of the former, the target gains the patterns of the donor.

Spine

Upon unlocking one's potential for Kundalini, the user starts with the first level, gaining a dot-like mark at the base of the spine when it is active. The increased strength, speed, and durability this level provides often surprises new practicioners. This leads to the user to underestimate their own power and deal the opponents more damage than the user intends.

Trivia

  • The inspirations for this concept are the Sage Mode and the Sharingan from the Naruto universe. Like the former, the user gains immense power and physical markings, and like the latter, each person's marking is unique.
