The KB/JTB Super Raven is a Neo-Korean twin-engine, all-weather delta-winged, supersonic stealth fighter aircraft designed by the Project Raven design team based on the earlier Akira Nijūkyū prototype design produced in 2029. The Super Raven was designed to match and surpass other craft beginning to enter service in the era, such as the Gruening F7M Wedgetail, especially via incorporaiton of the capacity for the autonomous control of drones and other aligned craft by an artificial intelligence aboard the craft, this feature being the cause of the plane's marketing as a "6th Generation" fighter. The Super Raven is the first airplane in decades to have no notable corporate influence from Akira Heavy Industries or Miyamoto Ltd in its design process, instead incorporating only Karasu avionics and instead relying on newly state designed materials for the rest of the components. This lack of corporate influence is notable, and may be tied to certain procurement failures which occurred in the KB/FAB "Fuzan" bomber.
The Super Raven was designed from the outset to fulfill air-focused multirole capacity, including but not limited to electronic warfare, direction of other craft, interdiction, and of course long-range air to air combat. It has a limited capacity to attack ground targets, especially with the lack of a gun attached to the craft, but such roles are believed to be more viably serviced by the KB/KBO "Super Wyvern". The Super Wyvern uses multi-walled carbon nanotubes suspended in paint as a key part of its stealth covering, which allows it to reflect no visible light - meaning it has the capacity for near-invisibility at night, in a fashion similar to the painting of other stealth craft in black paint but far superior in practice. The software and general design of the craft are designed to be open to upgrades in the future, in the hopes that it will serve for an unspecified but hopefully long period of time. The Super Raven is the most expensive plane to ever fly in Kāichrén service.
The Super Raven first saw combat in the 2034 Matsume Invasion, engaging successfully in air-to-air combat during the Battle of Morioka - though the battle as a whole was lost, Furukawa Ayako and her squadron would score a total of 9 hostile kills during the combat in the city. The total amount of aircraft Neo-Korea wishes to procure is unknown, but is believed to number at approximately 200-260 craft.
