The United Democracy, officially the United Democracy of the Far Frontier, is a state in central Chikohatsu. Neighbouring states include the Nayéshitorai Free State to the east, Havatsuyu to the south-east, and Auroreline to the west. Though the United Council is almost entirely consisted of ethnically Central Itheri and East Itheri, about 80 percent of United Democrats are of Gezii descent, usually Tse Gezii in the central mountain range of the country, and Su Gezii in the southwestern coastal plain. The remaining population consists of the Tsoiyamako (also called West Itheri), the traditionally nomadic inhabitants of the far northern and eastern regions within the Frontierian Desert, the Koboko, and descendants of Central Itheri and East Itheri settlers known as the Chaiyatsoqo.

Gezii indigenous peoples settled the region around 6,000 years ago as one of the main groups descended from the Taronatsai migrants who settled northeastern Chikohatsu. Thousands of years later, in 1789, several Gezii clans were united under the rule of Tsanikopi the Great, who founded the Gezii Empire. Rapidly expanding, the Gezii Empire would conquer the Koboko Empire to the southeast in the Great Sack, rapidly expanding in all directions, and fighting the 20 Years War against the Bohanadi Coalition consisting of the nations of Tanuvia, the Principality of Itheria, and Havatsuyu, which would collapse the Empire. Two centuries later, the Principality of Itheria would rapidly expand into the Frontier in a period known as the Frontierian Wars, in which the Tse Gezii under the leadership of Haiyakai, along with many other Frontierian groups, would fight against Central Itheri settlers. With the loss of these wars, Haiyakai, her wife, and over 100,000 more Gezii would be forced to migrate to reservation territory abroad in Yazukyxia. Later Itheri rule opened the region to mass immigration, creating the Chaiyatsoqo. The effects of the Itheri Civil War led to the loss of the mainland to the Nayéshitorai Free State and the flight of the Revolutionary Democracy government to the Far Frontier, where it then declared itself the "United Democracy of the Far Frontier" to ease tensions between the apartheid government and the majority Frontierian population. Although the UD government continues to claim to be the legitimate representative of the Itheri nation, its effective jurisdiction has been limited to the Far Frontier.
