District of Arabi (D.A.), formally the Federal District of Arabi and commonly referred to as the district, is the capital of the United Socialist States. Founded after the first presidential election as the seat of government of the country.
All three branches of the U.S.S. federal government are centered in the District: Congress (legislative), president (executive), and the Supreme Court (judicial).
A locally elected manager and a 6-member council govern the District. Residents elect a non-voting, at-large congressional delegate to the House of Representatives and has no representation in the Senate.
For statistical purposes, the District of Arabi is treated as a state-equivalent by the U.S.S Census Bureau.
