Sofia Maksimova Dashkova (Votyalic: Софья Максимова Дашкова, tr. Sof'ya Maksimova Dashkova; b. 13 March 1995), known as Sonya Dashkova, is a Votyalic figure skater. She is a one-time world champion (2016-17), three time Votyalic national champion (2015-16, 2016-17, 2018-19), a two time World Team Championships champion (2016-17, 2018-19), and holds three World Junior championship gold (2011-12, 2012-13) and silver (2010-11) medals. She was also the Votyalic junior champion in 2010-11, 2011-12, and 2012-13.
Sonya Dashkova is also a noted political activist, demonstrating on the ice against issues such as poverty, environmental protection, and most often political repression in states neighboring Votyalia and around the world. To this end, she has been associated with several Progress and other left-wing politicians, including an internship in the offices of now-Prime Minister Matryona Alliluyeva.
Dashkova has been in a relationship with Progress politician and Antipov family scion Alexei Mikhailovich since 2015, when the two met during her internship in Alliluyeva's offices. They have since been seen together often at political rallies in Zolodolina and other major cities, and Antipov has attended numerous final and semi-final skates in support of Dashkova.
