Marism is a monotheistic religion and tradition centred on the teachings of Guardian Mari, which were codified by the ten Followers. Marists adhere to the prophecy as codified in the Hicak. Established by the follower Szalbacaile in 1344, the religion started spreading

History

The Hicak, the holy book, is written by Mari and her ten followers and consist of four chapters. The first chapter, the Hasziera, is written by Mari and describes the forming of the world by God. The Kodecak further details early life after the creation of humanity and codifies societal rules derived from the commandments received by Mari. The Irakaszpen is the third chapter and is a supplement to the Kodecak and is written by the follower Salbacaile. The fourth chapter, the Gutunak, was written in the 12th century by offspring of the Followers and is accepted by Orthodox and Reformist Marists but not by Puritan Marists. The Gutunak consists of several letters received by early religious congregations. Instead of the Gutunak, the Puritan Marists instead consider the Szuszenketak as the fourth chapter; which was written by Szalbacaile after Mari's death.
