tyThe Royal Army of Rocha is the land component of the Royal Rochan Armed Forces and is largest of the three uniformed services, having been established officially in 1895 following the signing of the Treaty of Division and the establishment of the Kingdom of Rocha Sur. It is responsible for maintaining the territorial sovereignty of the King of Rocha Sur. It's mission is to take all necessary measures for the defense of the Kingdom of Rocha Sur against threatened invasion or any action directed against the independence or territorial integrity of the Kingdom or threatening to secure the life or property of citizens thereof.

Though has been no open combat between Rocha Sur and its northern neighbor Erimiá since X, the Royal Rochan Army maintains a large presence along the nation's border. It also functions as the national gendarmerie as well as a order control and guards force.

The Royal Army of Rocha is the only branch of the Royal Rochan Armed Forces which utilizes conscripts.

Though not considered a part of the Royal Rochan Army, the Imperial Army of Temuair maintains several combat formations within Rocha Sur, most notably the 11th Imperial Coraceros Division and the 5th Imperial Dragón Division. It also supplies much of the material and training utilized by the Royal Rochan Armed Forces
