Phillip Elderberry was the sixth Premiere of Gladysynthia from 1981-1988. He was elected from his home province of Darapherma. After graduating Secondary school, he immediately joined the Army and served for eight years, where he achieved the rank of General. After leaving the Army, he went to Loromano University of Law, where he met his future wife, Pamela. Together, the couple had two children and settled in Loromano, where Phillip became a lawyer for a private firm. He announced his campaign for Premiership on February 12, 1979. He now lives with his wife in Loromano.
