Kiera Santizo is an Aisling actress. Although she has been active in the entertainment industry since 1999, she is best known for her role as Caoilinn Bree in the sci-fi series Nautica, as well as her performance as Eirlys in 2014 paranormal horror movie Beyond the Veil.

Early life

Konrád Santizo was born September 17, 1977 in Innis, a suburb of Fife located in northeastern Nekor. Her father, Darío Dorta is a notable criminal defense lawyer

In 1999, at the age of 17, she graduated from high school. She was enrolled by her father at the Gramail University of Justice and Law. Her father expected her to assume a role as a junior partner at his law firm after she completed her education. In a 2007 interview with Cartelera, she stated that she never desired a career in law, but that it was expected of her and her brothers.

Career

In 2001, at the age of 20, Kiera dropped out of school to her fathers disapproval. That same year, her father disowned her from the family, cutting off her access to the family's wealth and material resources, and disqualifying her from receiving any inheritance upon his passing. She no longer communicates with her family. She moved away from her family to Abel and began working as a bartender. She took daytime classes at the De Rego Institute of Design local campus. She completed her associates in 2005 and returned to Fife to pursue a career in acting.

Her debut in acting came in 2007 when she was cast as a supporting character on Flagship's daytime sitcom Hush Hush. However, her pat was terminated by writers after only 4 episodes. In 2008, while working as a retail clerk at a Mosoco boutique in Fife, she was approached by director Natanaele Medin, creator of the hit science fiction series Nautica. Medin had come into the store looking for material to produce costumers from for the show when he spotted Kiera and immediately approached her regarding the part of Caoilinn Bree. In a 2007 interview with StarLine, he said "She was perfect, she was, literally, in every way, the embodiment of Caoilinn, and I knew I had to have her for the show."

In 2007, she was involved in Music Entertainment Network's reality television series Celebrity House Guest in which celebrities were sent to live with "average" families from across the nation. Ultimately, the show was not successful, receiving poor ratings and only running for half a season.

<More stuff happened>

In 2014 she was cast as "Eirlys" in the paranormal horror movie Beyond the Veil, produced by Apex Studios. The film became an instant box office success, grossing more than 21.1 million during its opening weekend. Total worldwide theater earnings exceeded 79 million URD.

Personal life

She met her future husband Vitor Santizo while bartending. The two began dating in 1998 and married in 2002. The couple have two children, Clarissa and Seán Santizo, ages 12 and 7 respectively. Clarissa has been involved in a variety of modeling shoots since the age of 8.
