Re: Plagiarism
It has come to the attention of the IIwiki administration team that several of your articles, including Prussia and Prussian Soviet Socialist Republic, contain content which is substantially plagiarised from other sources, particularly from the Wikipedia article wp:Prussia. Plagiarism is explicitly prohibited under the IIWiki Standards and Conventions and as such I am issuing you an official administrative citation. Please correct the offending articles, removing all plagiarised content and replacing it with original material, and any other article of yours that similarly plagiarises other writers' intellectual property, and familiarise yourself with IIWiki's Standards and Conventions. Unresolved instances of plagiarism will be deleted by administrative action in a week.

I'm sorry I didn't realize that useing source for alternate historical scenarios was plagariam in your eyes. Don't worry I will try to make them 'less like Earth' and 'more fantasy like'
- The issue isn't in similarities to real-world events, countries, etc.; if you wanted to write about the real Prussia, exactly as it is on Earth, you could (even if it seemed a bit silly) - as long as the writing is your own. If you want to write an alternate-history Slovenia, the point of departure of which is 2020, you are absolutely entitled to describe real-world Slovenia - again, as long as the writing is your own. The problem, you see, lies in using other people's written content, over which you have no claim to ownership and which can give rise to legal and attribution issues. Site policy is that anything you submit to IIWiki should be your own work and in your own words. You're very welcome to continue using IIwiki as long as you abide by the site policy, which is a fairly straightforward thing to do. I hope this clears things up - if it doesn't, I'm happy to clarify further. ~ Mal do the talking thing 17:50, 7 April 2020 (UTC)
I see now
Re: Continued Plagiarism
I note that, since your last plagiarism warning, you have continued to write articles using content plagiarised directly from other sources, including numerous Wikipedia articles and other online sources. Previous warnings for plagiarism were more than clear in explaining site policy: you do not use other people's content as a substitute for your own. Thus, and as this is your third infraction on IIwiki, your account will be suspended from editing for 72 hours. Your articles where plagiarism has been identified as a significant proportion of the content, namely Crimea and Crimean Soviet Socialist Republic, have been deleted. Other articles of yours, including Fabián Franco, also contain significant plagiarism but have been left to give you an opportunity to rectify the infraction. Failure to rectify this plagiarism within a week of your ban elapsing will result in its deletion. Your contributions in future will be closely scrutinised. If you continue to plagiarise, or fail to resolve the existing plagiarism, you may expect your removal and that of your content from this site. IIwiki's plagiarism policy is straightforward and reasonable; it should not be difficult to comply with it. ~ Mal do the talking thing 19:43, 26 June 2020 (UTC)
Re: Re: Continued Plagiarism
Since everything I do is plagiarize is your eyes, I might as well consider quit doing alt history altogether on this site since I have notice that other alternate history scenarios are also being targeted on this site.
- If you re-read what I've said on each prior occasion, it is not plagiarism for paralleling real-life events, it is plagiarism for stealing other authors' content. It is entirely possible, and indeed not terribly hard, to write things in your own words. This is what we desire and encourage. The theft of others' original work (i.e. plagiarism) is laziness at best, legally dangerous at worst and poor practice always. You are demonstrably capable of producing original concepts and original writing. If you can avoid plagiarism, you will be very welcome to remain on IIwiki.
- IIwiki administration is in no way 'targeting alternate-history scenarios' or alt-hist writers. We are first and foremost a world-building website, and once a user abides by site policies regarding content and behaviour they are welcome to contribute to their heart's content. I hope this clarifies our position. If you have any qualms, queries or concerns, please raise them with me or any other admin or the site owner, and we will do our best to address them.
- Lastly, some housekeeping notes —
- Please remember to categorise all your articles, e.g. with Category:Countries, Category:Heads of government, Category:Political scandals in Crimea as appropriate. IIwiki's categorisation system attempts to mirror Wikipedia's, by and large, and you may use that as your guideline.
- On articles which are substantially incomplete (consisting of only an infobox and a line of text, or something comparably short), please mark them with a template indicating that they are works in progress, such as {{wip}}.
- Thank you for your understanding. All the best,
