Nubarghof is an unincorporated community in the Nubarg Department of Norcustsur in Radictistan. The settlement is located in one of the most popular skiing regions of Radictistan and is home to three ski areas making it a popular vacation destination for the Radictistani elite. Because of the settlement's establishment connection, one of the nearby ski areas was the site of a mass shooting perpetrated by the Communist Party of Radictistan as part of its ongoing war against the Radictistani government.
Government and law enforcement
The Nubarg departmental government is comprised of a nine-member Department Council (Radictistani: Departmentsrat) headed by a Ratsprasident. The council members including the chief executive are elected by residents of the department on a nonpartisan basis. Police services are provided by the Nubarg Department Police with thirty-five sworn personnel. The County of Norcustsur Police and Royal Security Police both maintain offices in the department.
Demography
According to the most recent census there are 14,419 persons living in Nubarghof as part of 4,832 households. The racial makeup of the settlement is 97.2% White, 1.5% Arab, and 1.3% all other races. Median household income is R$58,145.
Tourism
Nubarghof is a major tourist destination both for skiing and for the area's natural beauty. There are three ski areas nearby: one privately owned by the Nubarghof Resort and Lodge and two on land owned by the Royal Forest Service with inexpensive public access. Parts of all areas are open for summer activities such as hiking and mountain biking. The resort complex and hotels and restaurants within the town are major employers.
Transport
Nubarghof and the Nubarg Department are served by Nubarghof Airport. The airport receives scheduled flights by Mountain Airways and is a common destination for private aircraft and air taxi services. The town has no railhead but has road access to other communities.
