The Rhaecus was a super heavy tank fielded by the Republic of Syara during the Siduri War.
The Rhaecus was the physically largest tank ever built by Syara. Originally envisioned as essentially a mobile fortification, the Rhaecus was intended to serve as the backbone of the Army of the Syaran Republics armored divisions, but early testing and field work quickly revealed that the design was far short of what was hoped for it. Mechanically the Rhaecus was unreliable and tactically it was a dead end, leading the Syarans to mostly employ it as a propaganda tool. The actual combat record of the Rhaecus was almost nonexistent, with only a few instances of its use in battle.
