The Way-class is a small surface combatant in service with the Royal Mutulese Navy. It is the most numerous type of warship in the RMN, numbering 27 vessels. Compared to the dimensionally diminutive missile boats which preceded it, ships of the Way-class are far more capable of operating in open waters, whilst still retaining the shallow draft and small displacement which are indispensable in littoral operations. It is primarily an anti-surface design, armed with eight sea-skimming anti-ship missiles, although it also has some capabilities in defending itself against air and submarine threats.
