The world stands on a precipice, the vast powers of warring ideologies have taken control of the most powerful governments around the globe. In the west, the Continental Union that for so long kept peace and the flame of democracy lit threatens to collapse in on itself. Meanwhile, their erstwhile allies in the Old World fade into obscurity, the last vestiges of their mighty empires living on in their far flung colonies, now free of the motherland. Yet still, there are those that cling to the ancien regime, the antiquated monarchies having found common ground with the upstart authoritarians that seek to spread their ironclad grip abroad. But new threats continue to grow in the east, for the red menace has set its sights upon a global dictatorship of the proletariat, and for that the old ways must be cast asunder. The world stands on a precipice, shall your nation hurtle us over the edge to extinction?
