.gu is the country code top-level domain (ccTLD) for the Federal Union of Guadalupador. It is administered by the Guadalupadorian Internet Registry Office. The name is based on the first two letters of Guadalupador. With over 63 million registered domains, .gu is the most popular top-level domain in the Dorian-speaking world. Registrations of internationalized domain names (IDN) are accepted to permit usage of the Yamak'sh Script.
On the 21st November, 1990 the Guadalupadorian Ministry of Science and Development in tandem with the Olahn Technical Institute sponsored the implementation of the .gu top-level domain in the anticipation of linking Guadalupadorian educational and governmental institutions over a nationwide network of computers (DorNetworqo.) The top-level domain was later integrated into the internet at-large in 1992 after the decomissioning of DorNetworqo.
