Gunthard was known for his generosity towards his people, and showing content with his life. As such, his reign was known for a period of peace and stability within the petty kingdom of Münich. He made no offensive wars and invested heavily in the local economy. Gunthard made several pilgrimages in his life and earned a reputation for being a pious and godly. Gunthard was a man truly dedicated to his family and the prosperity of his house. He had 7 childen.
